Brandon is a 5 1/2 year old St, Bernard mix. He is a gentle giant. He is a little standoffish when meeting a new person(s). He is very affectionate once he knows you. He loves rubs and scratches. Brandon loves going for walks and checking out the many play yards here at the ranch. He is very mellow. He would thrive in any size family. He follows commands and is eager to please. He loves his treats and is very gentle when taking them. He doesn't like cats. He is one of the sweetest loving dogs. Brandon is eagerly waiting for his forever home. ##1533014##

Story
Meet Hagrid! Hagrid is a big ol’ sweetheart and a true gentle giant at 100 pounds of love and sloppy kisses. With his mild and laid-back nature, he’s the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a calm and loving dog. He’s about 5 years old and a Great Pyrenees/lab mix. His foster got his dna test done! This big boy enjoys following his favorite person around and being part of your day-to-day life. Hagrid seems to get along well with other dogs, but may be better suited as a loyal solo companion. Hagrid needs a loving family that is willing to provide additional care for him in the future if need be. He has been diagnosed with a MRSP skin infection that may require ongoing care and medication throughout his life to keep him itch free and comfortable. Although MRSP can be treated and cured, there is also a possibility that ongoing treatment may be required. Hagrid is currently responding to his treatment and is a happy, go lucky boy! Are you ready to welcome this big bundle of love into your family and give him the extra care down the road if he needs it?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.March 3, 2025, 11:06 am

Story
🏡 Walter & Willow Need a Home 🏡 Walter (81 lbs, neutered) and Willow (77 lbs, spayed) are siblings born in April 2020. They’re both housebroken, great in the car, and know shake, sit, and down. Outdoors, they’re playful and energetic; indoors, they’re calm and well-mannered. Both are dog-social but need slow introductions (Walter with males, Willow with females). They’re also good with both large and small animals, especially farm animals. Due to their size and excitement, they’d do best in a home without small children. They need space to roam and owners familiar with large breeds. Willow is the more affectionate of the two—she’s a total love bug who seeks out snuggles and attention from anyone in the room. Walter is just as loving but shows it differently—he’s always ready to play and have fun, then when you least expect it, he’ll sneak up for some snuggles.
