Story
Marcy is an adorable lady who enjoys life and being around people. In spite of her humble beginnings, she has a wonderful spirit about her. Always a smile on her face, and sure to welcome a treat two. She doesn't know a stranger!  We were contacted by a chief of police in a small rural town about Marcy. The owners had severely neglected her. There were sores all over her body, and the dog collar was starting to grow into her neck, but with the right medical attention and some TLC she began to heal physically.   All of the dogs in our care love her! With her around, it's always a dog party. Weather it's playing chase, or bathing in the sun, Marcy is always up for a good time. She doesn't excellent in public around crowds. Doesn't get over stimulated and remains quite low-key. she has been around cats, but seems to avoid them. A little nervous around them  We have taken care of her vetting: spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heart worm negative. She is current on heart worm prevention. Currently, she's being fostered in Arkansas, but transport is available to New England. Her adoption fee is $450 and that does cover the cost of transport as well. ##2313798##

If you would like to apply to take Patti home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. Patti is around 7 months old, she is what should be referred to as a ‘small circle dog’ meaning she isn’t a social butterfly that will enjoy new people or a busy household. She’s a little more than just shy or timid. We are looking for a patient and nurturing household for Patti that will be happy to do some empowerment training with her which we would provide to help her build her confidence. Patti is great with other dogs, housetrained, and currently tends to gravitate towards her foster dad, we do feel a child free household would be the least stressful for her and will require this. Time, patience and commitment to her wellbeing will be key in her new home.

Very active and wants to play and run, would fit great in an active family with children that have a wide stance (that can stand a little jumpy lovin) Learning about car rides but definitely not loving them yet. Likes toys, likes to chase a toy but won't bring it back. Loves treats. Plays great with other dogs. Very happy dog. Will make you laugh with his facial expressions. Just a goofball. Little Bit is a short, gentle sweetheart with a mellow personality. She came to us as a mama of 6. She loves to romp around the pasture with other dogs, mainly minding her own business. She enjoys attention from people and leans against you for pets. Little Bit is waiting for some one-on-one attention from a person looking for a best friend.
