Story
Levi is a 2 year old Pitbull mix. He is a really playful boy, so he would do best in a home that loves adventure! Levi has some resource guarding that he is working on here and will need continued training when he is adopted. His adopter should be experienced with this breed and resource guarding. He is an amazing dog ,but he requires real structure. Levi just finished his first group training class at Dog Gone Smart and did terrifically! Levi has been at PAWS way too long! His ideal family would be a couple or single person with no children in the home where Levi can decompress without being too overwhelmed. He loves to go on hikes and play ball and would make a wonderful active companion. He has had small play groupings with female dogs. He would do best as the only dog in the home, however, Levi is microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations and neutered. His adoption fee is discounted.

Story
"Hi, my name is Mila, and I am a young female dog who is athletic, friendly, and looking for a loving home. I was picked up by an Animal Control Officer in West TN because I was running the streets looking for food. Unfortunately, my human could no longer afford to feed me. I am an energetic dog who loves to run, play, and explore, and would be a great companion for someone who enjoys the outdoors. I am a very intelligent dog who is always eager to learn new things and prove my loyalty. If you are looking for a loving and loyal companion, look no further than me, Mila! I am excited to meet you and hope to become your furry friend for life!" Mila is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. Story
You just will not find a better pup than 55 lb Porkchop. This Very Good Boy has charmed everyone in his foster home, making fast friends with the dogs in the house, as well as the teenaged humans. His foster parents also think he's pretty great, and not just because he hasn't had an accident in the house, walks nice on a leash, and is as good natured as it gets. Porkchop is stumpy, has the most smoothable face around, and is loads of fun. If you like a super fun velvet hippo, you can't go wrong with this guy. Pork Chop is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival.
