COURTESY POST - Comet is approximately 5 years old. He is up to date with all of his vaccinations and has been neutered. He also has had double ACL surgery. He is allergic to bee stings but insists on trying to catch them regardless. Comet is an anxious and fearful dog. He is great with humans, not sure about children. He does not get along with most dogs and no cats. Comet would have to be placed in an only dog home. He has great house manners and is crate trained. Comet loves to play but not a fan of swimming but will enter the water when playing fetch at the beach.

Story
Chia and Rio are a beautiful pair of purebred AKC Staffies. They both come from a reputable breeder straight to my home. I am their only and current owner. They are both playful and loving, however chia is an alpha female which takes an experienced hand and constant supervision when introducing new pets to the home. Chia is 4 yo 32lb and full of energy and muscle. She loves to please and care for her little buddies but bigger dogs can be a problem? Rio on the contrary loves new friends instantly. Rio is chill and sometimes unaware that he is not a lap dog, Rio is 3yo 35lb. I recently became a grandma and my daughters feel very uncomfortable with the high energy in the house and tendency to chase small animals or possibly children by Chia. I do not mind taking the adoption process slowly and carefully, I do not mind driving a distance to find them both a great home together. Please contact me if you have ANY questions, I am a serious dog mom and open to talk.

Story
Levi is a 2 year old Pitbull mix. He is a really playful boy, so he would do best in a home that loves adventure! Levi has some resource guarding that he is working on here and will need continued training when he is adopted. His adopter should be experienced with this breed and resource guarding. He is an amazing dog ,but he requires real structure. Levi just finished his first group training class at Dog Gone Smart and did terrifically! Levi has been at PAWS way too long! His ideal family would be a couple or single person with no children in the home where Levi can decompress without being too overwhelmed. He loves to go on hikes and play ball and would make a wonderful active companion. He has had small play groupings with female dogs. He would do best as the only dog in the home, however, Levi is microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations and neutered. His adoption fee is discounted.

Story
Zorro is a lovable 3yr old Velcro pittie, he’s a resilient soul who was saved from a kill shelter and has since blossomed into the ultimate cuddle companion. A true sweetheart at heart, he’s house-trained and knows basic commands like “sit,” “lay down,” “go pee,” and “go to bed.” His affectionate nature makes him a joy to have by your side, as he thrives on being close to his humans and showering them with love. While he has a high-energy personality that would thrive in a home with a fenced yard to run and play freely (preferred but not necessary), he also needs an experienced adopter who can guide him through his leash-pulling tendencies and reactivity toward other dogs and small animals. For this reason, he’ll do best as the only pet in a single-pet household where he can soak up all the attention. With the right leadership and environment, this loyal, energetic, and loving pittie will bring boundless joy and companionship to his forever home.
