Story
Cinder came to us when her home burned down and her owner did not return from the hospital. Family members asked us to rehome her. We feel she was loved and well cared for by her previous owner. She is extremely sweet and loving to everyone. She truly never met a stranger and wants greet all she meets with happy affection. I'm sure she does not understand her current circumstances. Please consider giving this sweet girl the home she deserves. Cinder is spayed, all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative and microchipped. She is healthy and no health issues at all. Please consider giving this sweet deserving girl a chance to show you how much love she can share. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Story
This story is an amazing story of persistence, kindness, and trust. These five puppies(Bandit, Boss, Blitz,Bonnie and Brandy), were found by one of our southern partners near the base of an oak tree along a remote stretch of road, deep in the woods near the Mississippi/Tennessee state line. Momma Dog was spotted first, hunting for food next to the roadside, and he could tell that she had puppies somewhere. After setting out food and water for over one month, she finally trusted him enough to bring her puppies out of the dense woods and placed them at the base of the oak tree close to the road for him to help. We are glad she did. Mama is also glad she did, as she and her puppies are now in a home with soft beds and regular meals. Mama will also be up for adoption soon. First, she needs us to find homes for her beautiful puppies. The puppies’ temperaments are happy, playful, and fun-loving. They are very smart and outgoing. Like any puppy, they will require puppy training, but they are really the best puppies! They enjoy being a part of the household, and they seek the affection of people.Name: BonnieBreed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 11 weeksWeight: 15bsSpayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations:   Puppy vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter.Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age)Housetrained:  Not usuallyMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently:  Memphis  TN   Puppy Adoption Fee:  $550.00 (includes a spay/neuter surgery rebate of up to $200.00 to be paid to the adopter when proof of spay/neuter is provided to Paws New England). We can provide a list of low-cost SN clinics to adopters when requested. The adoption fee also includes the transport fee.ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.  PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy's life. Do you have the time? Please consider purchasing this book before adopting.  Perfect Puppy in 7 Days - How to Start Your Puppy Off Right, Sophia Yin, DVM - it is an amazing book that we recommend very highly and have had amazing feedback on.https://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Puppy-Days-Start-Right/dp/0964151871IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Story
Name: Maple Age: 3 years Current Weight: 55 pounds Rescued from: Texas (currently fostered in MA) Adoption fee: $550 ( adoption fee includes a $50 positive training reimbursement) Health: Up to date on all vaccines When our founder was contacted about Maple's story she knew we needed to help. Maple has spent most of her life, over ONE YEAR, in a shelter in a small and dirty kennel run. Despite her rough start in Texas, Maple is as sweet as syrup and will no longer be overlooked. She is thriving in foster! She loves to hang under her foster mom's desk while she does zoom calls and chill in the yard in her jammies. As you can see by her photos, she loves to snooze and play! Her name is especially appropriate because she has "sticky fingers" when it comes to tennis balls - she is obsessed with them! She loves to play her version of fetch, where you throw it once, and she races to pick it up, but she never actually brings the ball back to you. She prefers to hold on to it herself and will run around with it in her mouth for ages-no need to throw it again! She does like it if you chase after her for it so she can show off her keep-away skills. She's an EXPERT! Another great love of Maple's is treats. The only way we found to get a ball back from her is to offer her a treat! She's got to drop the ball to eat it, after all! Maple came into the shelter wearing a harness, so she had an owner at one point. Unfortunately, she had no identification, and no owners ever came looking. She has had some potty training and will sit on command if you have her attention and loves to learn new tricks and commands. She's done great picking up training cues in just s short time.  Maple will need to be the only pet in the home.  To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Please note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process:LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited.RNR’s ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog.MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed.APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email. ##1729253##
