Story
Xavier is a big goofy lover. He is need of some further training and reinforcement of rules. He's two years old, so he's got lots of energy and a bit of rebellion. But he wants to be a good boy. X would do best in a household where his person works from home or spends a decent amount of time at home - he has separation anxiety. He would also benefit from having a fenced in backyard, to get out his young energy. X is great for cuddles and kisses and hugs! Gets a long great with other dogs and loves every person he meets.

Story
Name: Adam Age: 2y Breed: Mix Current size: 63 lbs Size potential: He is an adult. Won’t grow more than this. 63 lbs. Leash trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Potty trained: Yes but will have accidents if not let out to potty. Kids: Would prefer older kids who will understand that he needs time and space to decompress and trust. Other animals: He needs other dogs for comfort so his dream home is one with a fur friend. Energy level: Medium House or apartment: He loves to play with other dogs so a fenced yard would be great but I’m sure he would adapt to an apartment if he has play time in a fenced area. Story/background: Adam was found on the streets after being adopted from Animal Control by a volunteer from the shelter and she agreed to foster and work on his fears until he finds a rescue or a forever home. Ideal home/family lifestyle: Calm and relaxed home with a fur buddy. Family can be active because Adam has been to brewery, pizzeria patio, walked on broadway uptown and went to a Trunk and Treat as part of his socialization to overcome his fears. ##2273699##

Story
Name: Maple Age: 3 years Current Weight: 55 pounds Rescued from: Texas (currently fostered in MA) Adoption fee: $550 ( adoption fee includes a $50 positive training reimbursement) Health: Up to date on all vaccines When our founder was contacted about Maple's story she knew we needed to help. Maple has spent most of her life, over ONE YEAR, in a shelter in a small and dirty kennel run. Despite her rough start in Texas, Maple is as sweet as syrup and will no longer be overlooked. She is thriving in foster! She loves to hang under her foster mom's desk while she does zoom calls and chill in the yard in her jammies. As you can see by her photos, she loves to snooze and play! Her name is especially appropriate because she has "sticky fingers" when it comes to tennis balls - she is obsessed with them! She loves to play her version of fetch, where you throw it once, and she races to pick it up, but she never actually brings the ball back to you. She prefers to hold on to it herself and will run around with it in her mouth for ages-no need to throw it again! She does like it if you chase after her for it so she can show off her keep-away skills. She's an EXPERT! Another great love of Maple's is treats. The only way we found to get a ball back from her is to offer her a treat! She's got to drop the ball to eat it, after all! Maple came into the shelter wearing a harness, so she had an owner at one point. Unfortunately, she had no identification, and no owners ever came looking. She has had some potty training and will sit on command if you have her attention and loves to learn new tricks and commands. She's done great picking up training cues in just s short time.  Maple will need to be the only pet in the home.  To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Please note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process:LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited.RNR’s ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog.MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed.APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email. ##1729253##

Story
Meet Nash! He is a local dog!Breed: Mixed Breed (Possibly Pit Bull/Ridgeback)Age: 2 ½ yearsWeight: 65 lbsAbout Nash:Nash is a gorgeous, athletic boy with a heart as big as his smile. At 65 lbs, he’s a perfect balance of handsome and affectionate. Nash lives with a loving family in Rhode Island, where he’s adored for his playful and loyal nature. He’s fantastic with kids and gets along beautifully with the family’s Great Dane. Nash is not food possessive or aggressive at all—you can take bones and other high-value treats from him, and he does not guard his food bowl. Personality:Affectionate: Nash loves his humans and thrives on attention.Playful: He enjoys outdoor adventures and walks and is happiest when he’s part of the family fun.Energetic: While he walks well on a leash, he might pull when he spots a squirrel — nothing a little redirection can’t handle!Ideal Home:Nash would do best in a home without small dogs or cats. He’d thrive as an only dog with a larger, possibly female companion. A dog-savvy family that understands his needs and can give him a structured, loving environment would be perfect. Why Nash Needs a New Home:Despite their love for Nash, his current family has realized he’s not comfortable living with the small dog and cat in their home. They’ve made the difficult decision to rehome Nash to ensure everyone’s happiness and safety. His family volunteers with Paws New England; this is not a decision they have come to lightly, but they know it's in his best interest, and we agree. If you’re ready to give Nash the unique, pet-loving home he deserves, he’s prepared to bring his loyalty, love, and charm to your life!Name: NashBreed: Staffordshire Terrier MixSex: MaleAge: 2 1/2 yearsWeight: 65.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative Microchipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Because of his size, over 5 years old—he's been in a home with children since they were 3 yoGood with Dogs: His size, perhaps female would be bestGood with Cats: NoAdoption Fee: $350.00 (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:  Rhode IslandIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Story
Meet Hunk – the name says it all!Hunk is a big, lovable sweetheart who’s ready to find his forever family. 💖This gentle soul was rescued as a stray and brought to an Emergency Vet clinic, where we stepped in to prevent him from being sent to the already overcrowded Memphis Animal Shelter. From there, he joined one of our amazing foster homes to begin his journey to recovery. When he first arrived, Hunk was very thin, so he’s been enjoying small, frequent meals to help him gain weight and get back to full health. He’s also being checked and treated for parasites to ensure he’s 100% healthy for his new family.Hunk has been thriving in his foster home, getting along wonderfully with his foster mom and her dogs. He’s a gentle, easygoing boy, and his foster mom can’t say enough good things about him! While we’re unsure how he feels about cats, we’re confident Hunk would fit in beautifully with most families. Now settled in New England, Hunk is ready to meet his forever family. Could that be you?Just look at that face!
