Story
Marcy is an adorable lady who enjoys life and being around people. In spite of her humble beginnings, she has a wonderful spirit about her. Always a smile on her face, and sure to welcome a treat two. She doesn't know a stranger!  We were contacted by a chief of police in a small rural town about Marcy. The owners had severely neglected her. There were sores all over her body, and the dog collar was starting to grow into her neck, but with the right medical attention and some TLC she began to heal physically.   All of the dogs in our care love her! With her around, it's always a dog party. Weather it's playing chase, or bathing in the sun, Marcy is always up for a good time. She doesn't excellent in public around crowds. Doesn't get over stimulated and remains quite low-key. she has been around cats, but seems to avoid them. A little nervous around them  We have taken care of her vetting: spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heart worm negative. She is current on heart worm prevention. Currently, she's being fostered in Arkansas, but transport is available to New England. Her adoption fee is $450 and that does cover the cost of transport as well. ##2313798##

Story
Meet Stella, the sweetest girl around!Stella is a heartwarming bundle of joy who never meets a stranger! Her affectionate nature and gentle soul make her a beloved companion to everyone she meets. This sweet girl has an incredible backstory. Stella was found abandoned on a rural road in Mississippi, hungry and searching for a safe place to call home. She showed up at a kind-hearted woman’s house, and it didn’t take long for Stella to win over everyone’s heart—especially an elderly woman and her caretakers. Stella even made fast friends with the four outdoor cats! Her rescuer, realizing how wonderful Stella was, reached out to give her a better future.Though Stella doesn’t have a permanent foster home, she spends her time between boarding and trips with her foster dad. Her boarding facility family adores her, calling her a “good girl” who is always full of love. Stella has a great demeanor, never barking unnecessarily, and her high energy shines when it’s time to play! She loves running, fetching sticks and balls, and having a great time outdoors. After she’s played her heart out, she turns into the ultimate cuddle buddy, ready to sit and snuggle up with you. This amazing girl is crate trained—she sleeps soundly in her crate at night, happily curling up with her blanket. She’s also making great progress with housetraining. She’s done so well in her training, even spending time with a young child, where she was respectful and friendly. Stella has been out and about at various places, from craft fairs to pet stores and home improvement shops, where she’s been nothing but sweet and well-mannered.Stella is a high-energy, fun-loving girl with a heart full of affection, and she’s ready to give all of that love to her forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will shower you with affection, Stella is the one for you!Check out some videos of this tail wagging girl:https://youtu.be/g7wltuFdDHU?si=Ngc2vUlsjf7UGCu5https://youtube.com/shorts/7tYD8whxfPs?si=qg-Sm61sWE_aoGAQhttps://youtu.be/b0jf69nfYrw?si=b4CFCOSEN7QgYhEiName: StellaBreed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 2 years  (estimated)Weight: 45.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 12Good with Dogs: SelectiveGood with Cats: YesAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    MississippiIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher.
