Story
Galo is a 1 year old Doodle mix WE DO NOT KNOW THE MIX Here is what his foster says about him… Galo is the absolute sweetest boy. He will give you more love and affection than you know what to do with. He wants to be by his person at all times. He loves to play with the other dogs. Shares food and water fine. We leave a few bowls down and he grazes as he wants it. Loves being outside and running with the dogs. Is starting to notice that the bell gets him outside and that gets him a treat. Only a couple accidents in the house. Does good in crate. Knows how to sit and comes when you call him. A single person who works from home and has a lot of attention to give would be ideal for him. Again, he is super sweet. He LOVES to give kisses. Just like all of our dogs he was placed in a wonderful foster home (not shelter) receiving LOVE and proper socialization, basic commands and started on their potty training. He is GREAT with children as well as other dogs, cats and kids. He loves toys and cuddles. He will make a Great family pet. He is up to date on age Appropriate vaccines, and Dewormed If you would like to be his new beginning please fill out a application https://form.jotform.com/200234277736050 You can also find us on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/nodogsleftbehindrescue

Story
MEET MOLLY:  Born March 4th, 2024, Molly is a sweet and loving Corgidoodle puppy with a bright future ahead. Thanks to a partnership between the Bissell Pet Foundation and National Mill Dog Rescue, Molly was rescued from a commercial breeding facility and is now looking for her forever home. While she’s still a puppy learning the ropes, Molly possesses a wonderful temperament and is eager to please. She and her sister Maggie were rescued from a life of breeding. Personality:Molly is a sweet and loving puppy, eager to learn and bond with her new family. While she may be shy initially, she has a gentle demeanor and a warm heart. With some time and patience, Molly is going to make an amazing addition to your family! She thrives on love and attention and is very food and treat motivated, which will help her learn commands and skills over time. She has much taller legs than a Corgi and the coloring is more typical of a Poodle, but she has no tail. Requirements: Socialization Needs: Molly will benefit significantly from another confident dog in the home to help her come out of her shell. She may be timid at first, but with the right companion, she will flourish. Fenced Yard: A secure, fenced yard is essential for her safety and to provide her with a space to explore and play. Leash Manners: Molly currently lacks leash manners and may experience fear when on a leash. She will need gentle guidance and training to help her become comfortable. Training: As a young puppy, Molly does not yet know any commands but is eager to learn. She is currently working on crate training and house training, so patience and consistency will be key. Grooming: As a doodle mix, Molly will require grooming to keep her fur from becoming tagled and matted. Thankfully, she doesn't appear to have much of a curl to her hair, which makes brushing a little easier! Ideal Home:Molly would thrive in a calm and loving environment where she can gradually acclimate to new experiences. A family or individual willing to spend time socializing her, teaching her commands, and providing the structure she needs would be ideal. If you have another dog to help her adjust, that would be a huge plus! She has not shown any concerning interest in cats and would do well with older, dog-savvy children. She is working on crate training and her house manners are improving every day with consistency. Molly has a bright future ahead of her, and with the right support, she will turn into a loyal and cherished companion. Could you be the one to give Maggie the loving home she deserves? She would do best with another dog that likes to play and can show her the ropes. She is eager to please which is a lovely attribute.  Laila is a submissive pup with ridiculously long legs and a sweet grin. She is shy and scared at first but if you give her time you'll be well rewarded. Small children would likely be too much for her but older, respectful children might be great!  If you would like to meet her let me know!     Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. Story
From Merlin's foster mom: I have had the pleasure of fostering Merlin for several months. He was dumped in a rural area and was hard to catch and scared of everything. I brought him into my house and he stayed inside with outside potty breaks while in my care and NEVER had an accident inside. I became worried about his safety when he escaped my fence one day and would not come back to me. He was sent for 2 weeks inboard training. He caught a chicken the day he got loose but dropped it when I told him to and the chicken was unharmed. Merlin slowly warmed up to me and would try to get in to my lap a lot. He is very loving and sweet. He would be a great walking or jogging companion as he is high energy. He was very submissive to all my other dogs and was tolerant of cats but I never left him alone with the cats. Merlin is very smart and funny and he has a wonderful personality. He is a perfect dog but he needs an adopter with a sense of humor. Merlin "The Magician" makes things disappear! He loves to collect household items...shoes, clothes, spoons, canned goods, measuring tapes...whatever he can get his mouth on. He has great fun swiping things the second you turn around. He has a special place he takes his treasurers and understands you will collect your items back. I imagine this will improve as he grows out of puppyhood and with follow up training. He was started with the basics but will continue to need reinforcement of what he has learned. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering.
