Story
A bundle of energy, Koko is a 2 year old poodle mix who loves human attention and bonds quickly with his favorite walkers. Koko has been bounced around a variety of homes and we believe has needed to assert himself to get his needs met, leaving him with some reactive behavior around other animals and small children. Koko needs an experienced family who will understand if he is slightly nervous and reactive around new people. With just a little time and understanding, Koko can be the happiest little sidekick you could find! He would benefit from an active adoptive home where he could go on long walks, hikes, and adventures.

Story
Bentley is the sweetest big boy. His family is moving and cannot take him with them. He is 6 years old, about 95 lbs, is great with kids, dogs, and cats, and all in all, the best dog ever. Look how cute this guy is! Bentley does not shed, but needs to be groomed a few times a year. He is friendly and social and so gentle. A real by-your-sided kinda guy! Magnificent! Would do great with another dog and a nice yard. A must meet, for he is so cute in person and will steal your heart for sure. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)  August 18, 2024, 2:43 pm

Story
Callie is such a silly Doodle girl. She is playful and bouncy and very athletic. Callie is under 2 years old and weighs about 65 lbs. She LOVES other dogs and would do best in an experienced home, with a fenced yard, and active people. She needs some more training, but is easy to work with and eager to please. She is a goofball and not a mean bone in her. A great dog and so much cuter in person. A must meet, for she will steal your heart for sure. Might not be good with really young kids, for she is a bit too bouncy at times. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. Story
Dominique is an extremely handsome, very social, black with a touch of white on his chest, male standard poodle born on 3/4/23. He currently weighs about 60 pounds and is a burning, burning hunk of love for sure, so it goes without waying that Dominique loves attention and is ready to bond with his special human. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, received a Proheart 6 shot and is also being kept on flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. His adoption donation is $700 plus $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Dominique the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
