He’s full of personality and affection, always ready to play with squeaky toys or snuggle up for a cozy cuddle. His favorite pastime? Following his foster mom around the house like her little shadow — he simply loves being close to his humans. Trevor’s story took an unexpected turn when his original owner passed away suddenly. At the time, he hadn’t shown any signs of epilepsy. A new family kindly took him in, but when his seizures began to appear, they realized they couldn’t continue his care due to having very young children in the home. Since arriving in foster care in early March, Trevor has been doing wonderfully on anti-seizure meds — which he takes like a champ every 8 hours. The medication only costs about $21 a month, and he takes it without any fuss. Because of his med schedule, Trevor needs a forever home with someone who’s retired, works from home, or has a flexible routine to help him stay on track. He gets along well with other dogs and even cats, but he’d likely thrive best as an only pet — he’s happiest when he can be your constant companion. A home without small children is important, as after a seizure (he's only had one since coming into foster care), he needs quiet space to rest and regain his composure. Yes, Trevor has some special needs — but his heart is even more special. He’s sweet, loyal, and full of love, just waiting for someone to give him the care and affection he truly deserves. If you have a caring soul and space in your life for a devoted companion, Trevor is ready to meet you. ✨ Are you the one who can give Trevor the forever home he's been waiting for? His adoption fee is $650 which includes his vaccines, preventatives, microchip and neuter.
