Thank you for your interest in Red. Here's his story. Born in a barn he was kept because he was a pretty colour. Boys don't need much care either; just pull them out when you need them and then shove them back in their pen. Easy. And oh, so sad. Ok, the rest of his story. Sales are down when it comes to puppies. Way, way down. Or maybe a cuter puppy was born so now they didn't need him anymore and he was discarded. Thankfully we got the call about a Standard Poodle In Need. We rushed to get him, met him and named him Red. Then we rushed him to the vet. His ears were so infected that we had to pack them instead of just giving him a few daily drops of medication. His ears must have been so sore! We also noticed some scabbing on his legs. The kind of scabbing that usually comes from having matted, dirty hair. Through all this, Red was a great boy. He didn't know it, but the good life had begun and we were in love!

Story
Thank you for your interest in Salem. Some dogs are born into loving homes and then purchased by owners who adore them. Others are not and that is Salem's story. Salem was a disappointment because he wasn't perfect. He pulled on leash and chased the cats and he was bouncy and playful and a little mouthy and he growled at his owner when they tried to punish him. For four years this was his life and then he came to us. We loved him right away. Everyone who met him liked him immediately! What a smart, cuddly pup! Of course, we are all poodle people and all we could say to him was, "Welcome home, buddy!"

SPIN received a call for help with three Standard Poodles whose owner had fallen on hard times and could no longer care for them. We were happy to bring them in, and that's how we met Jersey. From the moment she arrived, we noticed her red, irritated, and flaky skin, along with some hair loss and uneven regrowth. But none of that mattered—we loved her at first sight!

We didn't know what to expect so what a surprise when these two gorgeous, bouncy, shy girls showed up. Love at first sight! They might not have known about TVs and leash walks in town, but they learned quickyly and they certainly knew all about worming their way into your heart!
