Story
This sweet, handsome fella was roaming the city and county for a few months and no one could catch him. We were called in to help and within a few hours he was safe in our care thanks to a citizen helping man the traps. He is very sweet, friendly and loving but he definitely has a checkered past. He does not like to be left alone for too long and can get destructive. Like many dogs here in TN he was neglected to the point where he lost trust in humans. He has now learned that there are some really great humans and so he wants to be with you. He does like to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with another dog or 2 that are friendly and playful. He is also very young (we can only guess) so he needs an active family. He loves water, going for walks and is a great car rider. He does great with kids too. I think he would love a big, fun family to smother him with love and attention. He will need an adopter willing to work with his separation anxiety and help him get over that(there are lots of free resources). He is a Poodle, not sure if he is pure or a mix but he is going to require regular grooming. He is a high maintenance guy looking for the perfect home to meet his needs. If you are interested in our sweet Roman please visit funnyfarmpets.org where you can read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works. You will also find the link to submit the application. His adoption fee is $325 and if he has to be transported from TN where he is currently fostered there will be an additional $200 fee.

Story
**Meet Bonnie: Your Energetic and Loving Companion!** Are you ready to welcome an intelligent and friendly furry friend into your life? Look no further than Bonnie, a delightful, approximately 3-year-old Standard Poodle with a heart full of love and a zest for life! Originally acquired to be a service dog, Bonnie discovered that her true passion lies in connecting with people and other animals. She’s incredibly friendly and loves to "go say hi" to everyone she meets, making her a social butterfly wherever she goes. Bonnie has a special interest in meeting children, and her gentle nature makes her a wonderful companion for families. Bonnie is exceptionally smart and eager to please, thriving on training, games, and puzzles. She consistently responds to commands like "sit," "come," and "stay," and her food motivation makes her a quick learner. She’s also very responsive to praise and correction, making training sessions a joy. Bonnie loves belly rubs and lounging with her human friends. She’s a fan of crate time and would likely enjoy participating in dog sports due to her medium to medium-high energy levels. She enjoys medium to long walks and would love a home where she can run around and play. Bonnie has a few quirks that make her even more endearing. She thinks every cat is a potential friend, although she might try to chase if they run away. She’s like a little mountain goat, often found perched on window sills to get a good view outside. Bonnie does well with friendly, well-mannered dogs but can be unsure around new canine faces. She’s best suited to a home with someone experienced in managing anxious dogs, where she can spend most of her time with her beloved humans. Easy to groom and full of fun, Bonnie has a special way of asking for attention by resting her head on your thigh—a gentle reminder that she’s always ready for some love and affection. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and loving companion, Bonnie is the perfect match for you. Come meet her and see how quickly she’ll steal your heart! Story
Are you looking for a fun energetic girl! Then you have come to the right place. I'm Marilla! I am a 7 month old 'Labradoodle' who currently weighs 35lbs. My parents were both standard size doodles, so I will likely keep growing. I landed with Zoe's House Rescue because my breeder couldn't sell me, and I was growing up fast. I don't know why no one wanted me! My foster mom says I am pretty great! I like to play with toys and chase my foster siblings around the yard. I'm always carrying one of my toys around, my favorite is a Kong Wubba toy. I like to toss it in the air and catch it! I am fostered with dogs, cats, and rabbits. I get along with everyone, but I am very curious and playful so I will need companions who don't mind me wanting to play. I need supervision with the cats and rabbits because I don't know how strong I am. I would do best in a home with at least one other active dog. I'm very active and on the go! I love to stay busy playing and learning! I LOVE WATER!! I'm always in the doggy pool at my foster home! I love to lay on the couch with my foster mom and watch TV! I am very good at cuddling! I didn't know any basic training when I came to my foster home, but I am learning! I have been practicing walking on a leash too. I am crate trained and have started potty training outside. I'm doing really well, but I still need to go out frequently. Although I am almost 7 months old, I am still a baby in a lot of ways. I'm looking forward to meeting my forever family!" Marilla is a sweet little girl who has a wonderful silly personality. She is a little nervous in new situations, but loves people and warms up to new friends quickly. Marilla is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and has been treated with parasite preventatives. Ready to meet our Marilla? Go online to www.zoeshouserescue.com and complete an adoption application! We do not always receive applications submitted through adoptapet or petfinder. Story
Hello, my name is: MaxeyDOB: 07/25/2022Sex/Breed: Neutered male Labrador Retriever/Standard Poodle mixWeight: 69.9 lbsFriends: Dogs, adults (cats and kids unknown)Traits: Exuberant, goofy, playful, lovingRescued From: Surrendered to local shelterLook at this handsome guy! Maxey was surrendered to a local shelter in terrible condition, but he doesn't let his previous life of neglect get him down one bit. This boy lives and loves life to the fullest! He loves to run and play, and has such a fun, exuberant energy about him. He'd enjoy having a fenced yard in his forever home to stretch his long legs. His house- and crate-training are coming along very well, and he even knows some basic commands. He has been great with other dogs, and everyone, human or canine, is a fast friend in his book. Who will be lucky enough to love (and be entertained by) this beautiful goofy boy forever??All our dogs are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting?
