Story
Dominique is an extremely handsome, very social, black with a touch of white on his chest, male standard poodle born on 3/4/23. He currently weighs about 60 pounds and is a burning, burning hunk of love for sure, so it goes without saying that Dominique loves attention and is ready to bond with his special human. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, received a Proheart 6 shot and is also being kept on flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. His adoption donation is $700.00 plus $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Dominique the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
CALDER Is a three-year-old Aussiedoodle who came to us through no-fault of his own. He is a high energy guy, maybe not as socialized as he could’ve been. He’s very sweet and 110% housebroken. Calder would love a family that gets him his RDA of exercise and mental stimulation as is so important with his breed mix. He does pull on the leash and will jump up so he needs a Training 101 refresher But he is very smart and food motivated - would even be a great trick dog!  Calder has been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for Heartworms and tick corn diseases, micro chipped and is scheduled for a much needed grooming! If your family can match Calder’s lifestyle, please apply at www.companimals.org. Adoption $350. April 5, 2025, 10:15 pm

Story
Dexter is a 3 year old neutered male poodle mix who weighs 34 pounds. He was rescued in starved condition and we estimate that he will fill out around 45-50 pounds. Dexter came to us covered in painful matting, unable to see or walk normally. Since being shaved, he is so happy, caring and just wants love. Dexter will do anything for a treat and already learned how to sit. He takes treats so gentle, has tested well with other dogs and will make a wonderful companion.
