Story
As we enter a new year, I want to introduce myself. I'm Shasta, a 12-year-old young lady. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I lived with my dad until recently when he had to go to an assisted living home. No one else could care for me, so I ended up at the shelter. This really great group called Fetch came to get me and now I've been staying in a home with my foster mom.I really am the bestest girl and always tell her when I have to go out to potty. My paperwork told her I'm not always the best with other dogs,  but I've actually been really good with the small, calm dogs that she has in her house. I am a little weary of strangers and new dogs but I seem to warm up quickly. My foster mom says I could stand to lose a few pounds (I mean who couldn't) but my foster mom has been helping me go for short walks. With the lack of exercise, my back hips are on the weak side but my foster mom has been giving me hip and joint supplements and the walks have been helping to build up the strength again. What I'm looking for is a quiet home where I can rest and get lots of pets. I really love a good belly rub or good butt scratch. If you are interested in an older pup that is looking for a quiet home to live and get some good love, please check me out at Fetch Foster and Rescue. And remember, the name is Shasta. You can apply for me at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adoptName: ShastaAge: 12 yearsBreed: Poodle mixSex: FemaleWeight: 67 lbsAltered: No and likely won't be due to ageAdoption Fee: 400Good with cats: Yes, so far I've enjoyed the ones I've met.Good with dogs: I've done well with the small, calm dogs I reside with, though I'd probably prefer being an only dogGood with kids: No young children, please.Special Requirements: None.*Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member. Story
Hello!  I'm Pierre. I'm a sweet and cuddly apricot poodle. I was recently released from a breeder and now I'm ready for a new beginning. My goal now is to find you;  a forever family.  I'm learning potty training but you will need to work with me as I navigate through this. I've discovered toys and treats and I love playing with the other dogs in my foster home. I also do great in my kennel!Since I spent most of my previous time being caged, I spin in circles alot. My foster parents try to tell me to stop spinning or distract me with toys or a treat. When something squeaks or a phone dings, I find myself barking. But, like I said, I'm still navigating this big change! I love to cuddle in your lap and enjoy a comfy warm bed at night, so I feel like this could be the perfect way to end our nights together. What do ya say? Are you ready to spend furever together? You can apply for me at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adoptName: PierreD.O.B: 05/20/2016Breed: PoodleSex: MaleWeight: 6.8 lbsAltered: YesAdoption Fee: 400Good with cats: I'm unsure.Good with dogs: Yes, I enjoy the company of other dogs!Good with kids: I'm unsure.Special Requirements: None*Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member. Story
I saw you looking at me and you were probably wondering who's that cutie patootie? Well, my name is Maggie Mae and I'm a happy and full of energy little girl. But more than anything else, I'm grateful. Having spent my life pushing out puppies, a lot of things are new like leashes, pottying outside, and playing with toys. But with us working together as a team I can overcome that. While my foster mom and dad are at work, I stay in my kennel and I keep it clean. I prefer to have a buddy close by because I get scared and it's good to have that support! Even though I'm happy to see my foster mom and dad, I'm still kind of shy to go by them. So I'm going to need a patient and loving home to make me feel safe.I like to look and feel my best so regular brushing and haircuts are a must. Don't worry though, I did really well when my foster mom gave me a bath and brushed me out and she even gave me a haircut. She told me that I did better than my sister Riley.Because I’m still gaining confidence, I’d do best in a home with a fenced yard where I can explore safely. Another doggy friend would be wonderful, too—I feel so much braver when I have a buddy to show me the ropes!Remember though, they always say good things come to those who wait.
