Story
Meet Chico a sweet 4-5 year old young man who lost his pet parent. She passed away and the son can’t keep the dog. He is just the best dog all the way around. House trained but will use peepee pads if he has to. He much prefers to go outside! He is a laid back dog and not super demanding. Easy to get along with and affectionate. He has not suffered any abuse or neglect and has only had one previous home. Would be a great dog for a settled person who wants company. His eyes are just striking. You can’t not helped to notice them. One is a super bright blue While the other is brown. If you have any questions please contact us. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com

Story
Age:   approx 3 years old   Weight: 20  lbs My adoption fee is $599   which includes transportation charges to the Northeast. We are so happy to welcome Miley to Rhode Island!  This gal comes to us from Texas, where her owner had to surrender her for financial reasons. She weighs in at 18 pounds and  is believed to be a Schnauzer mix. Miss Miley has the most unique and stunning silvery brown and apricot coat. She is a true beauty! Miley is around 3 years old;  young enough to be fun and active, but mature enough to be a mellow companion.  She is getting along well with the other dogs in foster and loves to leash walk.   If you serious about adopting, the first step is to fill out an adoption application on our website:   https://www.smalldogrescuene.org/August 18, 2024, 9:47 pm

Story
Sylvie is 1 year old, 38 pounds, and a mutt (maybe shnauzer mix). Sylvie is the sweetest girl, who has never met a stranger. She loves every human and dog right when she meets them. Sylvie is smart and loves to learn tricks. She currently knows sit, down, stay, look, touch, spin, etc. Sylvie does not shed. She walks well on a leash with a gentle leader harness on, and is crate trained. Sylvie is an excellent adventure buddy as she will hike or jog as far as you would like. We are rehoming Sylvie because she jumps at our baby and chases our cat. We have been keeping Sylvie mostly separate from the cat and baby, but this ends up as Sylvie spending a lot of time away from the family. I would love to find a new home for her where she can be someones best friend. Sylvie still needs some training to learn not to jump on visitors and not to steal food off the counter. Sylvie should not go to a home with small children or cats. She would love to be in a home with another dog.
