Story
Everyone, meet Baxter!! Baxter, the Schnauzer, is about 20 lbs and almost 2 years old. He is fullly vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Baxter tested positive for heartworms and has since been treated. It will take 6 months to 1 year for the treatment to work. We recommend retesting in 6 months. Baxter is great with other dogs but does have a tendency to want to dominate male dogs his size. He is best with older children. No small children. He is kennel trained and mostly house trained. Baxter is being fostered in La Feria, TX and will make the trip to the northeast to an approved adopter.

Story
Midnight is a happy and handsome two-year-old that, despite a friendly and easy going manner, is very much an active and playful guy. Midnight is good to leash and easy to walk but is a little fearful of the cars that whiz by. He takes instruction well and learns quickly with repetition and consistency. Midnight is great about visual ques when he needs to go outside to potty. Story
Lucy Rose is a gorgeous pure white possible Schnauzer/ Westie mix. She is one year old and weighs 15 pounds. Lucy was abandoned by her humans in a small town south of San Antonio. Kind citizens contacted us and then transported her to us. She is a special young pup. She is extremely smart and seems to understand whole sentences. That being said she does at times have a little imp of a personality. She can suddenly seem to lose her hearing and any discipline she has, goes out the window.Lucy enjoys going to her kennel at night. She is fair at leash walking but a bit nosy at times. This dog is all about play with her furry friends. She loves s good game of chase or a 6 round wrestling match. Lucy cannot seem to stay out of any of our water features. She loves splashing in the water and chasing bubbles. She would be great fun for any active person or family,Lucy is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, vaccinated and has been examined by a vet. Her adoption fee is $300 If you would like to meet Lucy, please apply here.ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Poquita Paws does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes spay/neutered, rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventrative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.LEO is a 7 years young mild mannered and very submissive guy.  He gets along with all of the dogs in my home and plays well with everyone.  He is very quiet and well-mannered. Poor LEO was found by a good Samaritan in her subdivision which is a gated community.  He actually had a microchip and we got excited thinking someone was missing him.  Well we were wrong, the owner admitted to dumping him in that subdivision with the thought that someone would give him a new home.  They said they lived in an apartment and wanted him to have a home with a yard.  The good Samaritan had LEO for 3 days before reaching out to me.  He was never allowed in the house but he stayed on the front porch in a corner just happy for whatever interactions, food and water he received.  Just thinking about him being such a good boy makes me want go cry. He really is a good guy who loves everyone and he really deserves to have a good home of his own where someone can love him. If you are interested in adopted LEO please submit an application on the website below.  The pictures are not too good but I will try to get more.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE.
