Story
Meet Madison Madison is a sweet Schnauzer/Husky mix who is approximately 2 years old and weighs 37 pounds. She came to us from a shelter near the border of Mexico with her 4 babies that were all adopted out. Now is her chance to find her forever home! Madison (Maddy) is a sweet and gentle girl. She has a brief warm up period of a day or so until she know she can trust you, then she is social and friendly. She loves her treats and that is the way to get her to trust you more. She has the cutest mohawk! She plays well with the other dogs in her social group as you can see in the video. Madison is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $325. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application. If you would like to add this mohawked cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance* Madison tested positive for Chagas disease and has started her treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas

Story
Meet Charlie Charlie is about 1 1/2 years old, weighs 25 pounds and is a super happy, playful pup! He is very sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, enjoys exploring and playing. He was rescued by a neighbor after his mom and siblings were confiscated for animal cruelty. We are so grateful she worked so hard to rescue him. We can see Charlie doing well in a home where he can get lots of attention and playtime with his family. He is curious and also enjoys being held. He has a fun personality and he is very smart. He enjoys playing with his toys and other dogs here at the rescue. He is just a fun-loving pup who can’t wait to find a home of his own! He would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment. Charlie is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped and his adoption fee is $325. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application. Story
He’s not a wolf….He’s not a man. Maybe he’s something in-between? One thing is for certain: this Wolfman is ready to transform into the companion of your dreams. While it seems that fluffy canine has had a rough go, we believe that underneath all that hair, there is a prince! Wolfman is a quiet guy who is learning how to trust. Despite his initial shyness, he will happily snuggle up with you under the full moon, and he doesn’t mind being part of a pack environment. He will likely fare well in a home with other pets given time to adjust. Wolfman is a senior dog with manageable energy, and he is always happiest in a cozy spot near his people. He seems to bond quickly and has a loyal nature. Could you be the happy ending he has been looking for?
