Story
Dorothy is a rare orange tabby female kitten, so cute, and very sweet! She may be a little shy with strangers, but when you pet her she will roll over and invite belly rubs. Dorothy is mellow and is looking for a similar kind of household. She has a quiet little purr and is always gentle too. While she likes to play, she equally enjoys snuggling when she's done. Dorothy needs to be adopted to a home with another young, friendly kitten to be her buddy. We could also match her with another of our foster kittens. Dorothy is fostered in Redwood City. Story
Hailey and her sister Bailey were born and survived homelessness at the Colma Dump in San Mateo County. Rescued by HCN volunteers, these resilient sisters have come a long way and are now looking for a loving forever home where they can stay together. Hailey likes to spend time on top if a tall cat tree or looking out the window watching things only cats seem to see. Her favorite activities include chasing wand toys, leaping to catch things mid-air, and enjoying the automatic whirly toy with a wand attached. Don’t let her petite size fool you—Hailey has a big personality! She’s athletic, and speedy. While she may be a bit skittish at first, Hailey warms up quickly. She comes as part of a bonded pair with her sister, Bailey, so you’ll get double the love! Apply to adopt Hailey (and Bailey!) today to give these sisters the forever home they deserve.

Story
Logan is a 7 year old male cat. We adopted him at 3 months old from the SPCA with his brother Liam. They were the best of friends. About 2 years ago, a month after a move, the cats came eye to eye with another set of cats through a window and the brothers began their feud. For two years my husband and I have tried training them into being friends but we have not been successful. He is very sweet and can be sassy. Takes a moment to open up but loves lap cuddles and belly rubs. Loves licking pans after making eggs. He does need regular play time (about 10 min before breakfast and dinner is what we aim for and a mid morning and evening session before treats).

Story
We are looking for a loving home for our three wonderful cats. These cats were rescued from the backyard a few years ago after being abandoned by their mother, and we've cared for them ever since. However, with the arrival of our newborn baby and our busy full-time jobs, we are no longer able to give them the time and attention they deserve. We hope to find a home where they will get the love, care, and interaction they need. Ideally, we would love to keep them together, but we understand that this may not always be possible. Even if you can offer a home to just one of them, it would mean the world to us. Here’s a little bit about each of them: • Evee: He’s the friendliest and loves to cuddle. She enjoys being around people and would make a wonderful companion for anyone who wants a snuggly cat. • Calbee: A bit shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he’s very sweet and loving. • Sandee: Similar to Calbee, she’s a little shy at first but very sweet once she feels comfortable.

Story
Meet Tigger; a gentle, patient, and polite cat in search of a loving forever home. His name perfectly reflects his goofy, affectionate nature. Tigger was left behind when his owner married and moved away, but he remains trusting and full of love. He is healthy, lean, and gracefully muscular, with a sleek coat that is a joy to pet. He adores being held and showered with affection, purring contentedly in your arms. Tigger is well-mannered and prefers to do his business outside, making him an easy companion. He thrives in quiet environments, as loud noises can startle him. If you’re looking for a loyal, tender-hearted friend, Tigger is ready to fill your home with love.

Story
Cricket is a friendly, affectionate, gentle and very playful 9 months old girl. As a very young kitten, she was rescued from a busy street in a rough area. Cricket enjoys sitting in the cat tree watching the birds and squirrels; talks and makes the cutest chirping sound. She responds to her name. She's a fan of lounging and gets her daily exercise by playing with her favorite toys. This character will keep you amused. When she's tired or wants attention she’ll cuddle on the sofa with you for pets and a snooze. Cricket gets along well with others cats, but keeps her distance from the adult cats since they don't want to play. Cricket would do well in a quiet home with a kitten playmate. Story
Video Available! Meowdy! My name is Vinny and I'm a 4 year old, medium sized, neutered male, domestic short hair, brown and white tabby who loves affection from my human friends. Because I'm such a cool cat, I am the only one you need in the household- I'm a solo artist! I love napping in my snuggly bed, and dreaming of going to my furever home. I will rub on you and purr loudly, and play with toys like feather wands and ping pong balls. I do prefer things at my own pace and can be a little feisty if my boundaries are pushed. I'd prefer a home with kids aged 10+. If you would like to make me your furry companion, ask customer service for Vinny ID# A947357Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
Video Available! Hello there, my name is Fresa! I'm a 4 year old, medium sized, spayed female, domestic short hair cat that's ready for my next adventure. I'm a fun and frisky kitty that loves pets and playtime! I'd love to find a family that will spoil me with lots of toys to chase, especially string toys. I can get riled up with too much excitement, so I'd do best in a cat-savvy home with kids 10+ where I can get affection on my own terms. I'd like to be the only cat in my new home so I can have your attention all to myself. If you're looking to add a companion like me to your household, please stop by the shelter and ask for Fresa, ID# A900749. Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by.
