Story
We are looking for a loving home for our three wonderful cats. These cats were rescued from the backyard a few years ago after being abandoned by their mother, and we've cared for them ever since. However, with the arrival of our newborn baby and our busy full-time jobs, we are no longer able to give them the time and attention they deserve. We hope to find a home where they will get the love, care, and interaction they need. Ideally, we would love to keep them together, but we understand that this may not always be possible. Even if you can offer a home to just one of them, it would mean the world to us. Here’s a little bit about each of them: • Evee: He’s the friendliest and loves to cuddle. She enjoys being around people and would make a wonderful companion for anyone who wants a snuggly cat. • Calbee: A bit shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he’s very sweet and loving. • Sandee: Similar to Calbee, she’s a little shy at first but very sweet once she feels comfortable.

Story
Dorothy is a rare orange tabby female kitten, so cute, and very sweet! She may be a little shy with strangers, but when you pet her she will roll over and invite belly rubs. Dorothy is mellow and is looking for a similar kind of household. She has a quiet little purr and is always gentle too. While she likes to play, she equally enjoys snuggling when she's done. Dorothy needs to be adopted to a home with another young, friendly kitten to be her buddy. We could also match her with another of our foster kittens. Dorothy is fostered in Redwood City. Story
Hailey and her sister Bailey were born and survived homelessness at the Colma Dump in San Mateo County. Rescued by HCN volunteers, these resilient sisters have come a long way and are now looking for a loving forever home where they can stay together. Hailey likes to spend time on top if a tall cat tree or looking out the window watching things only cats seem to see. Her favorite activities include chasing wand toys, leaping to catch things mid-air, and enjoying the automatic whirly toy with a wand attached. Don’t let her petite size fool you—Hailey has a big personality! She’s athletic, and speedy. While she may be a bit skittish at first, Hailey warms up quickly. She comes as part of a bonded pair with her sister, Bailey, so you’ll get double the love! Apply to adopt Hailey (and Bailey!) today to give these sisters the forever home they deserve.

Story
Meet Tigger; a gentle, patient, and polite cat in search of a loving forever home. His name perfectly reflects his goofy, affectionate nature. Tigger was left behind when his owner married and moved away, but he remains trusting and full of love. He is healthy, lean, and gracefully muscular, with a sleek coat that is a joy to pet. He adores being held and showered with affection, purring contentedly in your arms. Tigger is well-mannered and prefers to do his business outside, making him an easy companion. He thrives in quiet environments, as loud noises can startle him. If you’re looking for a loyal, tender-hearted friend, Tigger is ready to fill your home with love.

Story
We adopted Arwen as a kitten from the local rescue shelter during 2020. She will turn five in April 2025. She has been an indoor cat her entire life. She opens up to people after she feels comfortable with them. She has not been exposed to young children or teenagers. She hid the one time she was exposed to a dog. She lived with another kitten during 2020 but has not experienced another cat since. Arwen likes to choose when she wants attention. She likes sitting on laps and sleeping on top of you (on top of the covers) at night. She loves chasing after string on the end of a stick and laser pointers. She has a kitty sock that she pounces on. Wadded up paper balls serve as kitty soccer balls for her. Arwen is not good about drinking from a bowl, but prefers to drink from a running water source. Arwen loves watching out the windows, especially at squirrels and birds. She enjoys cat TV on YouTube. She is a fairly quiet cat, but will meow when she wants attention, food or water.

Story
Devi is the cuddlebug of her litter, a sweet tortoiseshell girl.   While she loves to play, especially with her bolder sister Dora, her first priority is always a cuddle and nap in your lap. Her big purr will put you in the mood for a nap too! Dora and Devi are a wonderfully complementary pair.  While both are fun-loving and affectionate, Dora will always want a play session before a cuddle while Devi favors a lap and a nap before some gentle playtime. As tiny newborns, Dora and Devi were hidden away on the roof of a house, under the eaves, by their mama-cat.  We spent weeks trying to find these kittens, and only found them when they got big enough to come out of hiding and begin to explore the roof on their own.  But they were terribly underweight because there was no food on the roof, and their mama's milk supply was inadequate for the kittens.  However the upside of their roof isolation was that they were hungry enough to be very friendly to people who provided regular meals! Story
Dora is a super-playful, curious and loving kitten, and a very unusual orange female. (Most orange cats are male.)   Our vet named her "Dora the Explorer" upon meeting her, because she is always up for a new adventure!  Dora loves to chase dangling feathers or toy mice and balls, or she will have a chase-and-wrestle with her tortoiseshell sister Devi when she is not exploring. Dora and Devi are a wonderfully complementary pair.  While both are fun-loving and affectionate, Dora will always want a play session before a cuddle while Devi favors a lap and a nap before playtime with you. As tiny newborns, Dora and Devi were hidden away on the roof of a house, under the eaves, by their mama-cat.  We spent weeks trying to find these kittens, and only found them when they got big enough to come out of hiding and begin to explore the roof on their own.  But they were terribly underweight because there was no food on the roof, so they only had their mama's milk supply, which was inadequate for kittens who should have been weaned and eating solid food weeks earlier.  However the upside of their roof isolation was that they were hungry enough to be very friendly to people who provided regular meals! Story
With the cutest face you’ve ever seen, Ella is a high-energy ton-of-fun in the body of a tiny ballerina. She’s as snuggly and affectionate as she is playful and she’s got a motor that just won’t stop purring. Her sister Kevyn is her best friend and playmate, and these kittens should be adopted together; this is definitely a case of two kittens being twice the fun and half the work! Ella and her sisters Kevyn and Annie were bottle babies, abandoned by their mother, a feral cat who didn't have enough milk to nurse her big litter. Their foster mom lovingly raised them, feeding them every four hours, day and night, until they were strong enough to eat on their own.  So Ella and her siblings are super-loving and affection because they think humans are their mama.     More information & application [ts=1741921217&src=aap]
