Story
Rina is an 11 year old tabby. She was front declawed when we adopted her. She is quiet and shy at first. Takes time to warm up but once she does she loves attention. She is happy to lay in your lap and sleep with you at night. She is very healthy but is allergic to fish-it will give her cat acne. Rina loves to play, her favorite being anything string related, when she gets super excited she will run around growling with excitement (it’s quite cute). She does not do well with any other animals or small children. She would be great for a couple or a single person with adult children or no children who lives a quiet life. She is perfect for a retirement buddy and will often spend her days lounging in the sun in front of a window. Rina is in great health and her next rabies is not due until November of 2026. When adopted I will provide kitty litter boxes, some food she currently eats so you can transition her if needed, toys, beds and a cat tree if the adopter wants it.

Meet the gemstone kittens: Ruby, Pearl, Sapphire, Diamond and Emerald. Three girls and two boys, these playful, spunky, cuddly kittens are 8 weeks old and ready to venture out to fall in love with families of their own. Adoption includes testing, vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter and microchip. Adoption fee: $125. Adopt a pair: $200. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance. Adoption and Foster Care ApplicationComplete this form and a volunteer will contact you to answer questions and to schedule a meet-n-greet. Shop our Amazon Wish List to gift us supplies we need and have them shipped directly to us.. NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label. Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
We'll also keep you updated on Pearl's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Georgia showed up between mine and my neighbors house at the end of last summer as a kitten. She was fed and loved by the whole neighborhood. I took her to get fixed and brought her in to heal just as winter hit (jokes on me, she hasn’t left since). Shes about a year old now. I have grown attached to her and love her a lot, but I already have 2 other cats and a dog and am not allowed to have anymore in my rental. I can’t keep her, but I wish to find her a loving and comfortable forever home.
