My name is Leo! My sister Stella is listed on this site too! I love to play with my sister and am usually the one to instigate it. I'd rather be right next to you than on you. I'm very sweet but will be a little shy at first. I am looking for my "forever" home with a person (people) who will love me forever! I would love to be adopted with my sister We are bonded. My foster mom is Laura If you are interested in Leo and Stella or have additional questions, please contact Silver Lake Animal Rescue League, Inc. at: slarl@yahoo.com

Story
Hi there, I’m Roomba! I’m about a year old, sporting a stylish brown-and-white coat with some dashing unique tropical island tabby stripes. I’m social, loving, and a bit silly, if I do say so myself. Fun fact about me: I’m an “island kitty”! I was rescued from a small island in the British Virgin Islands and was brought here to the USA to find a safe and indoor home! So, how did I get here? Well… when a vacationing MCT volunteer was on the island I was on, she realized not only did I need to be neutered, but that I didn’t totally see perfectly… not a big deal if you don’t have to worry about cars and predators. So, after being taken to the vet on the island and neutered getting all up to date on my shots, etc. Everyone agreed that I was most likely born this way and so it was decided I was too sweet and precious—to be released back outside on the island. So, from a program called “paws in the air”, I took a plane ride to Detroit! So here I am, ready to find my forever family! My vision impairment really isn’t a big deal. I get around and can find my litter-box and everything just fine! Don’t worry—I’m still a total champ at doing all the cool cat things, I just need a cozy, consistent home where I can memorize my surroundings. Once I’ve got the lay of the land, I’ll run and zoom around and explore every nook and cranny like any curious kitty would. I’m a total adventurer who adores exploring and sunbathing in windows. I’ll even show off my fancy footwork on the cat wheel (yep, I’m that cool) and going for little walks on it. I might look like a grown cat, but I’m still a kitten at heart—I need enrichment, toys, and fun activities to keep me happy and busy. I’m super chatty, too! I love chirping at my humans, especially when I’m excited. Oh, and did I mention I’m 100% food motivated? Bring on the treats, please! I have a sweet spot for belly rubs, head scratches, and back rubs. I’m all about cuddles—sometimes I’ll curl right up on your lap too. I’m a little nervous about being picked up for too long but lifting me gently is cool! I’m a rockstar playing with my soccer ball toy and batting it around and I’ll happily play with your feet to ask for attention. I get along great with other kitties too, so having a nice feline friend for me to cuddle with would be awesome. We can chase rattle ball toys together (my fave, by the way) and keep each other entertained. I’m not so sure about dogs or young kids—my perfect home would be peaceful and more quiet and a family that isn’t moving around to new places so I can know and memorize the layout of my home. So, if you’re looking for a quirky, adventurous, loving island kitty who’ll charm you with chatter, purrs, and goofy antics, I’m your guy. Let’s become best buds! Fill out an application to meet this sweet boy : https://form.jotform.com/242015163806045 Roomba is a 1 year old. His adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV testing, microchip and basic wellness care such as deworming & flea treatment.

Story
Found at a bar, this social butterfly has never met a stranger—only new best friends! Beamer is a chatty, affectionate, and food-motivated companion who will happily carry on a conversation (especially if treats are involved). Whether he’s curling up next to you for a cozy nap, keeping watch like a loyal guardian, or making sure no one dines alone, he’s always by your side.

Story
Meet Lucy, a 10-year old Tabby cat that needs a new forever home. Her owner (senior) recently passed away, and we are unable to keep her due to allergies and other conflicts. Lucy is a healthy cat that has a beautiful, silky coat. She was vaccinated, declawed in the front paws, and fixed as a kitten. She comes from a single pet home and has never been outside or around children. Lucy is a bit shy until she gets to know you, but is loving once she is comfortable. I believe Lucy would do best in another single pet home with mature adult(s).

Story
I am overly obsessed with this guy, I have had him for 8 years and he's lived in New York City, Chicago, and now resides in Michigan. He is very affectionate, playful, and LOVES to snuggle up! He adapts very well and has stayed at 11 pounds since he turned 2 years old. He's a fit cat who loves to sit up high and cat scratchers with a seat at the top are his best friend. He even enjoys a sunny day staring out the window at the world. My husband has lived with him for the last 4 years and his allergies sadly just keep getting worse, he's tried a lot of medication and we are at the point that we want both him and Mix to live happy, healthy lives. We are looking for the perfect human to take Mix into their world and allow him to bring them as much joy as he has brought us. He is only an indoor cat, but has been put on a leash to chill on our front porch before.

These pups are in Warren, Michigan too!

We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time!
