Story
Hello, it's nice to meet you. My name is Carley and I am a two-year-old grey female. I am a very shy cat who often hides in cat trees, but don’t let that deter you from getting to know me! I need a gentle, patient person who’ll give me time to open up and show my true personality! I enjoy getting pets and head scratches; if you give me some treats, you’ll win my heart! I would also do amazing in a home with other cats since I enjoy making new feline friends! I would do good in a home with older kids as well since I am sensitive to loud noises and do not enjoy being picked up. If you are interested in getting to know me, please feel free to stop by Stray Haven and visit me for a while!Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA194 Shepard Rd., Waverly, NY 14892(607) 565-2859, www.strayhavenspca.org Open hours:Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pmSaturday-Sunday 10am-4pmClosed on Mondays

Story
Hello! It's nice to meet you, my name is Sweet Pea and I am a four-year-old tabby female. I am originally from another shelter that was working on spaying and neutering local stray cat populations. I went through their clinic and they discovered I was a very friendly girl despite my nervous nature. I find that new situations are really scary, but they were patient with me and my real personality was able to shine. I was then moved over to Stray Haven who welcomed me in with open arms!I am a shy cat when you first meet me, but once I become more comfortable with you I am an affectionate girl who can purr all day long! Some of my favorite things to do are roll in cat nip, play with toys, watch nature through the window, and enjoy some head and chin scratches! Loud noises and fast movements do make me nervous so I would be best in a nice calm home with older children if they’re present. I am positive for a disease called feline immunodeficiency virus or FIV which makes me more susceptible to becoming sick. This means I would need to be the only cat in the home as it is contagious. If you have any more questions on FIV please feel free to ask the staff about it!If you are interested in meeting me, please feel free to drop into Stray Haven and say hello!Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA194 Shepard Rd., Waverly, NY 14892(607) 565-2859, www.strayhavenspca.org Open hours:Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pmSaturday-Sunday 10am-4pmClosed on Mondays

Story
Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Ebony and I am a four-year-old grey and white tabby female. I am an extremely shy cat that needs a patient and loving home that will give me time to adjust and open up to them. I am very skittish around people, especially when there are loud noises or fast movements occurring. However, I am working on being more open and have been asking for pets from some of the staff here. I do not like being picked up, but I do love snacking on some treats so that can for sure help me open up to you! I would do best in a home with either older kids who can respect my boundaries or no kids as I need a calm and quiet home. I get along just fine with other cats, but I would also be fine in a home where I am the only kitty. If you would like to get to know me, please feel free to stop into Stray Haven and visit me for a while!Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA194 Shepard Rd., Waverly, NY 14892(607) 565-2859, www.strayhavenspca.org Open hours:Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pmSaturday-Sunday 10am-4pmClosed on Mondays
