Story
Introducing my lady Piggy who is looking for her forever home along with her sister Tigger. Both were born on my property and have been cared for by me since birth. They are very loving and friendly but can be shy with new people. They enjoy sleeping on my bed and will jump up on my lap when I am lounging. They like to give me affectionate little headbuts and enjoy being around people. They have been raised with three small dogs. Both have been spayed and have their initial kitten shots. They still need their FVRCP booster and will need their 3 year rabies shot in one year. I am looking to rehome them together as indoor/outdoor cats for a total of $50.00. They are kitty box trained and have good house manners, including using a scratching post. They are two years old and healthy.

Story
Hello, this is Lily. She is a fully grown, 6 year old grey/brown tabby. Shes small in person, maybe around 7-9LBs in weight. She was from a litter of only two but her brother passed a year ago so she’s in need of lots of love and attention. She loves to be in peoples laps to cuddle but not a fan of being picked up all the time. She loves a good tall cat tree though! She’s been around small dogs and doesn’t mind them if they are calm. Still not sure about cats, she’s been introduced to a few but didn’t like to be around them. Has never shown aggression towards people or another animal other than a big dog. Lily needs a home with someone who can spend lots of time with her. She is a true sweetheart who’s very cute and just needs somewhere quiet and loving.

Story
We think Penn was born around 2017. This chill, handsome dude is Penn. He’s a chonky (ahem! muscular!) boy whose best friend is Sally. These bonded pals must be adopted together. Penn’s interests include catnip, vibing with his girl Sally, endless chin scritches, contemplating the meaning of life, and treats. If you’re looking for a low maintenance, easy companion, look no further. Penn is ready to fill that role. Full disclosure: Penn needs to lose a few pounds. He hopes his new family can help him achieve his health goal. Although they can’t go to a home with dogs, Penn and Sally do well with other cats and might enjoy gentle, respectful children. What are you waiting for? Ask to meet these sweethearts today. We were notified by a good Samaritan that Sally & Penn were left behind when their owners were evicted. Our hearts went out to these senior kitties. We did have these two fully vetted - they even had a full dental. They tested negative on their FIV/FELV tests. What do you say? Are you ready to welcome these loving cats into your home? Fill out that application today. As it states below, application required and we do deliver kitties to their new homes. We do everything we can do to find purrfect homes for our kitties. $100 adoption fee. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information. We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes. The adoption fee insures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.

She is around 7 Months old. Very loving. She showed up at my friend's house a month ago I told her I would find it a home. I got her spayed. Not sure if she has had shots. Box trained. She has beautiful markings. I am asking a 50.00 rehoming fee . I paid more than that to get her fixed.

Story
Megan is a wonderful cat I’ve had the privilege to love and care for for the past 8 years. I got her when I was a teenager and she has grown with me. She is very affectionate and bonds deeply with people. She loves to play, sit on the windowsill in the sun, and sleep on top of me at night. Megan sometimes has issues with scratching or biting lightly when she gets overstimulated. She is a cat with strong boundaries and she will let you know when you cross them. She loves to be petted and asks for pets frequently, and her body language needs to be read when petting her to ensure a good experience for everyone involved. She would do really well with an empathetic, caring, patient person. She needs time to adjust and get to know you before she warms up, but she is very loving and affectionate to those who she holds dear. Watching her progress in bonding with you feels very special and like an honor. Megan is not comfortable with young children.
