Story
Max is a young male cat under one year of age. He is a friendly stray that was found fending for himself since it was a kitten. Max has been spayed as off September 12th, he has also been dewormed, given Revolution flea treatment for a month, microchipped and had the leukemia feline test done. We would love to get this good boy off the streets and into a good home. Please consider Max If you feel called and can give this young outgoing kitty the loving life it deserves. Thank you.

Story
Hello, I'm Zena. I've been staying at a cat boarding hotel since my mom died on hospice, and it was really getting me down at first, but it turns out, I'm pretty adaptable. I had a wonderful life before, was in my first family's home for 4 years, and then the last 5 I moved to their grandma's house, where I was the only cat, and loved to cuddle and purr and play all day long. I enjoyed rolling my toy balls and watching the world outside my window from the cat tree. The lady taking care of me is really nice, and helped me feel better and more hopeful. I know I will make someone a great companion, and I will be so grateful to be in my own loving home again.

Story
I am the third owner. My friend went to Hawaii. She couldn't take the cat with her. And asked me to look after her. I've been looking after her for six months now. And I developed an allergy to the cat. We discussed it and decided to give cat away. Because a friend moved away for a long time. And I can't look after the cat anymore. The cat is 7 years old. But she is very cool. Loves to play and run. Well-mannered, doesn't climb on tables. Doesn't wake me up in the morning to eat. Doesn't ruin furniture.I'll give away all her things.

Story
Hello, this is Lily. She is a fully grown, 6 year old grey/brown tabby. Shes small in person, maybe around 7-9LBs in weight. She was from a litter of only two but her brother passed a year ago so she’s in need of lots of love and attention. She loves to be in peoples laps to cuddle but not a fan of being picked up all the time. She loves a good tall cat tree though! She’s been around small dogs and doesn’t mind them if they are calm. Still not sure about cats, she’s been introduced to a few but didn’t like to be around them. Has never shown aggression towards people or another animal other than a big dog. Lily needs a home with someone who can spend lots of time with her. She is a true sweetheart who’s very cute and just needs somewhere quiet and loving.

Willow is a very curios cat who loves exploring and water! If I leave my faucet on I’ll watch her bat the water my husband and I find it intriguing. She’s easy to get along with and barely ever makes much noise. She’s super sweet and loves attention. The perfect home would be one with a lot of property for her to explore but that’s not necessary, she would have a blast just on a leash and around the block.

Story
We think Penn was born around 2017. This chill, handsome dude is Penn. He’s a chonky (ahem! muscular!) boy whose best friend is Sally. These bonded pals must be adopted together. Penn’s interests include catnip, vibing with his girl Sally, endless chin scritches, contemplating the meaning of life, and treats. If you’re looking for a low maintenance, easy companion, look no further. Penn is ready to fill that role. Full disclosure: Penn needs to lose a few pounds. He hopes his new family can help him achieve his health goal. Although they can’t go to a home with dogs, Penn and Sally do well with other cats and might enjoy gentle, respectful children. What are you waiting for? Ask to meet these sweethearts today. We were notified by a good Samaritan that Sally & Penn were left behind when their owners were evicted. Our hearts went out to these senior kitties. We did have these two fully vetted - they even had a full dental. They tested negative on their FIV/FELV tests. What do you say? Are you ready to welcome these loving cats into your home? Fill out that application today. As it states below, application required and we do deliver kitties to their new homes. We do everything we can do to find purrfect homes for our kitties. $100 adoption fee. Hardest part of rescue is: - Not being able to save every cat. - Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information. We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes. The adoption fee insures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.
