Joe Kitty Local is in Rhode Island and looking for his furever home! Seven year old orange tabby Joe is looking for a forever family that will shower him with all of the love he deserves. Could that be you? All kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all age appropriate vetting. The adoption donation for our kittens is $250 which is fully refundable should the kitten not be the right fit for you within the first week of adoption. I was rescued from the outside. Cold, alone and hungry. Every day is a new day for me. I am still hesitent and shy. Shelter staff did not want to release me back outside; they felt that I deserved the opportunity to find a home and family. I am about 8 to 10 months old. A home with another feline to be my mentor will be comforting. Time and patience would be gifts for me. We are looking for a safe barn for Johnny. He is independent. Not a chicken coop/sheep or goat pen, back yard doghouse. Need to follow "homing' guidelines for introduction to the barn. Moose is very a loving and super sweet boy but sometimes he would rather lay next to you than on you. When he wants to cuddle though, nothing is getting in his way to get you. He loves to eat so if you leave the food out the bag will be gone, and he does love to play with the balls with bells in them and the crinkle balls. He great with other cats, but he doesn’t know personal space when it comes them he will lay on top of another cat and sleep with them for hours. He’s also very good with kids 4 and older, he’s never been around with kids younger but I imagine he would be good with them as well. Due to working two jobs I’m just not home enough to give him the love and attention he needs.

Meet Chanel! Chanel is a gorgeous chonky lady with the most beautiful green eyes! She may be a little shy at first, but she'll certainly warm up in no time. Meet Miss Maizie! Maizie is an 8 year old cat that was transferred to us from a local animal shelter. She had a hard time settling in at the previous shelter, and she also struggled when she first came to us, letting everyone know just how much she disliked the other cats! Maizie let us know she would much rather be in a space where she didn't have to see other cats, and so we made her an office cat! Since getting her own space, she has blossomed into an affectionate and active lady. She loves getting head scratches, playing with gentle wand toys, enjoys being brushed, and taking over your work space! Maizie would do well in a quiet home without other pets or young children, and with someone who is on the cat savvy side. She does need someone who can read her body language - she knows what she likes, but she'll let you know when she's had enough. Someone who works from home or retired would be a great match for Maizie, as she doesn't like to be alone for long.
