Story
Joe Kitty Local is in Rhode Island and looking for his furever home! Seven year old orange tabby Joe is looking for a forever family that will shower him with all of the love he deserves. Could that be you? All kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all age appropriate vetting. The adoption donation for our kittens is $250 which is fully refundable should the kitten not be the right fit for you within the first week of adoption. We do not have a cat application form set up, so please fill out our current general application and note the cat/kitten's name in the "interested in" column so we know who you are applying for. Please note, many of these application questions will not pertain to a cat. We are currently trying to revamp our website to accommodate for cats/kittens. Thank you for understanding! www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form/

Meet Simba! Adoption Fee $225 Please copy and paste the following URL for the adoption application: https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Our next litter of kittens has only 3 left (2 girls and 1 boy) Simba and girls: Checkers & Sable. This group was born the first of August. They've been in a loving foster home with several resident cats. They get along with everyone. Story
I was rescued from the outside. Cold, alone and hungry. Every day is a new day for me. I am still hesitent and shy. Shelter staff did not want to release me back outside; they felt that I deserved the opportunity to find a home and family. I am about 8 to 10 months old. A home with another feline to be my mentor will be comforting. Time and patience would be gifts for me. For information about me and/or the adoption process, email ds4paws@hotmail.com or call Rob at the shelter 508 822 1463. An approved application is rerquired to bring me home.

Story
Moose is very a loving and super sweet boy but sometimes he would rather lay next to you than on you. When he wants to cuddle though, nothing is getting in his way to get you. He loves to eat so if you leave the food out the bag will be gone, and he does love to play with the balls with bells in them and the crinkle balls. He great with other cats, but he doesn’t know personal space when it comes them he will lay on top of another cat and sleep with them for hours. He’s also very good with kids 4 and older, he’s never been around with kids younger but I imagine he would be good with them as well. Due to working two jobs I’m just not home enough to give him the love and attention he needs.

Story
Meet Miss Maizie! Maizie is an 8 year old cat that was transferred to us from a local animal shelter. She had a hard time settling in at the previous shelter, and she also struggled when she first came to us, letting everyone know just how much she disliked the other cats! Maizie let us know she would much rather be in a space where she didn't have to see other cats, and so we made her an office cat! Since getting her own space, she has blossomed into an affectionate and active lady. She loves getting head scratches, playing with gentle wand toys, enjoys being brushed, and taking over your work space! Maizie would do well in a quiet home without other pets or young children, and with someone who is on the cat savvy side. She does need someone who can read her body language - she knows what she likes, but she'll let you know when she's had enough. Someone who works from home or retired would be a great match for Maizie, as she doesn't like to be alone for long. With questions about Maizie, or any of our other adoptable cats, please contact Olivia at olivia.warburton@rispca.org

🧡 Meet Mila – Our One-of-a-Kind Orange Queen! 🧡 Hello, my furiends! Mila is a rare gem—a gorgeous 2.5-year-old female orange tabby, which makes her extra special! But what truly makes her shine is her sweet, gentle nature. 🌟 This former supermom has retired from kitten duty and is ready for a life of love, snuggles, and well-deserved relaxation. Mila adores soft head and neck scratches, and if you’re lucky, she’ll even roll over for some belly rubs! 😻 She’s a quiet girl who enjoys cozy spots, peaceful moments, and gazing out the window at the world outside. But don’t be fooled—Mila still has playful bursts of energy and loves watching Cat TV, whether it’s birds outside or fun videos on a screen! 📺🐦 ✨ Mila’s Purrfect Home: 🏡 Would love a calm, quiet home 🐾 Gets along with other cats but would also be happy as the only feline 🐶 No experience with dogs 💕 Thrives on affection and gentle companionship If you’re searching for a loving, soft-hearted kitty who finds joy in the simple things, Mila is the purrfect match! 🧡 Could she be your new best friend? 😽 Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue!
