I adopted Vernon from a shelter almost two years ago when he was nearly two, so he is almost 4 now. The shelter mandated he be kept indoors, but that did not work for Vern, who had already lived as an outdoor cat when he was picked up off the street (Vernon St. in Worcester). After a good effort to keep him in, I let him out. He became indoor/outdoor and was much happier. I have grown close to Vern. He is very affectionate and has tremendous personality. Unfortunately, my allergies have gotten out-of-control and I also no longer have anyone to look after him when I am away for work. I want to find him a home where he can be an outdoor cat. He likes people but is pretty scared of most dogs. He is very playful.

Story
She is a 6yo independent cat that loves getting petted and brushed by trusted people, but doesn’t like being picked up or forced to cuddle. As she gets comfortable, she'll want to be closer and affectionate (on her terms). Before we adopted her, she was outdoors and learned street smarts. Now, she is indoor/outdoor & loves her freedom. She doesn’t use her litter box much, preferring to go outside. She used to hunt & fight but seems more mellow now. She tends to greet us when we get home & likes to follow us on walks around the block. We are going to start a more nomadic lifestyle and it wouldn’t be fair to force Sammie to travel. Though Sammie can handle car rides decently, she isn’t into lots of upheaval. Feeling responsible to find her a great new home, there are some non-negotiables: 1) She must be let outside. 2) She must be fed only wet food (we will donate her awesome wet food dispenser and months of her favorite food) 3) She must be the only cat/dog in the household.

BeaBea is sweet cuddle bug. As she has gotten older she is less patient with the 2 other cats and 2 dogs in our home. For the comfort and safety of BeaBea and her brothers and sisters, we have made the heart wrenching decision to find her a great new home where she can be the center of attention to live out the rest of her life. She is loyal and playful, but mostly prefers to sleep at your feet or by your side. BeaBea is short haired and small framed, she's a perfect little companion for any household who has love to give to one special lady. She is very 'people friendly' but not pushy, she says hello but doesn't yell at your guests and she tiptoes around like a princess but will put her paw in your water while you watch... she's a lady. Give her a chance to enter your home and she will steal your heart- also while you watch!

I was surrendered to the shelter with my kittens. Person said that they found my kittens and me under a porch. Vet estimated my age at 6 years, this was not my first litter! I am sweet, that is what everyone says who have met me. And charming and cute to boot! I am looking forward to a home where i will be able to "live the good life!"! Hello, I have a male cat who cat is 9 years old and is an indoor cat. We believe the cat is a Tabby. Cats name is Max with a laid-back personality. To my knowledge the cat has never been to a vet, at least for many years now. We are looking to rehome to a loving home within the next couple weeks if possible. The reason we need to surrender Max is because the Pet Parent unfortunately is going into a Nursing Home. God Bless! Mark

A friend of mine can no longer care for Sweetie and has asked me to find her a new home. Sweetie is a very sweet, declawed cat. She is a little shy. She likes human contact and likes head pets, but does not like body pets as much. She also does not like to be picked up. She is also an older cat with some arthritis. I believe she would do best in an apartment with an adult couple, but I have not introduced her to my dog or any kids before. I am looking for a new, STABLE home for Sweetie. I do not know Sweetie's breed and have made my best guess.
