Nikki was 2 years old when her owner died (and wasn't discovered for awhile). She was not socialized to people, dogs, or other cats (we have several dogs and a cat), so she stayed shut in our office so she could recover from her trauma. We couldn't touch her for a year, but this past year she has let us pet and hold her, on her terms, of course. She loves to follow you around the house, and will sit on your lap on a little blanket if no one else is nearby. She needs to be an only pet, or maybe could adjust to a very mellow dog or cat who shows no interest in her. She'd be best in a very quiet household with no kids. She is curious and likes to check out everything. Opera is a 1 year old medium hair tabby girl with a fluffy, squirrel-like tail. She has a unique fur pattern, with small amounts of orange in the overall grey & brown stripes. Opera is a talker, & will "sing" loudly for you to feed her. She LOVES canned food & cat treats. She's very friendly & social- the whole house is her domain. Opera has a big personality & is sure to entertain! She's playful & a medium energy level. While Opera has been in a loud chaotic household with lots of other kittens/cats, 2 big dogs, & 2 elementary-age children- she would prefer an environment where she has more control and less commotion. She likely would be an alpha cat, given the opportunity.  Opera could be an only pet or share in a household with an older or more beta cat personality. She would likely clash with younger cats like herself. A calmer dog would also make a good companion.
