Story
Meet sweet ASTORIA, a long-haired solid black cat with a bit of a wonky right eye that makes it look like she’s squinting at you.  It just makes her stand out in her uniqueness.  Astoria is the perfect cat for someone looking for an easy-going companion, in a quiet home.  She hit a bit of a rough patch, and was surrendered to the rescue after her owner could no longer care for her and is need of a calm, loving home to call her own again.  She is independent and low maintenance.  She likes looking out the window and perching someplace high for a nap.  She also enjoys bumping up against people’s legs to get cuddles and pets.  She starts out timid but warms up fairly quickly.  She has a special eye that does get crusty occasionally and will need to be wiped, but she doesn’t let that slow her down.  Astoria is an exceptionally rewarding cat to get to know and love, and would be a wonderful addition to the right home! Astoria has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Astoria in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
ROZ and DAPHNE are the cutest pair of black teenager sisters.  ROZ is the sweetest little fluffy black girl, while Daphne is a sleek black panther. ROZ is a little love bug, but she is also a very energetic and fun little fur ball. She is rambunctious, but wants to be cuddled when she isn’t having the zoomies. DAPHNE is fun-loving and curious, and likes to play and tumble around with her sister. They are OK with other mellow cats (with a slow intro), and get along well with dogs.  They are not scared of household noises, and will occasionally roughhouse with the other kittens.  Roz and Daphne were born to an unfixed neighborhood cat, and went to live with their mom cat in a loving foster home when they were tiny babies. These sweet sisters will make an awesome addition to your household. These sisters have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners.   To meet DAPHNE and ROZ at the Cat Lounge, please fill out an Adoption Application for consideration at catrescues.org/adopt, and an adoption counselor will contact you for a possible meet-and-greet at the Eugene Springfield Cat Lounge, 537 W. Centennial Blvd., Springfield.   The $280 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
GOOSE and DUCK are a bonded pair of young male tabby brothers.  Duck is a light brown tabby shorthair with white feet and striking green eyes, while Goose has medium-length black and gray tabby fur. Duck and Goose spend their days chasing, wrestling, and cuddling each other. These sweet boys love being petted, and they're both a big fan of belly rubs. Goose loves to sit in a warm lap while Duck enjoys some rough-and-tumble play, though he's learning to be a bit more gentle. Their favorite toys include crinkly sushi (Goose's favorite!), balls, springs, and anything that makes noise. They love mealtimes and will eagerly devour their meal from slow-feeding bowls like hungry hippos. Duck and Goose came to our cat rescue group when they were found living in a shed as kittens, and a kind young girl noticed them and reached out to us. Thanks to her efforts, these boys were rescued and given the chance to find a loving home. If you're looking for a loving, playful pair, Duck and Goose are the perfect duo to brighten your life! They have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet DUCK and GOOSE  at the Cat Lounge, please fill out an Adoption Application for consideration at catrescues.org/adopt, and an adoption counselor will contact you for a possible meet-and-greet at the Eugene Springfield Cat Lounge, 537 W. Centennial Blvd., Springfield.  The adoption fee for the bonded pair is $280, which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.  For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.
