Story
Very sweet cat. Affectionate, playful, beautiful coat. So soft and fluffy, I think he has some persian mixed in with him. I have moved in with a family member who has a dog couldn’t take Oreo with me because the dog doesn’t like cats and Oreo is afraid of dogs. A friend is fostering him for me until I can rehome him. I have him on a waiting list with the Humane Society for months now. I really need to find him a home for him. He’s a sweet guy who would make an ideal pet for someone who is looking for an affectionate buddy.

Story
Birthday: May 2022 Have you ever witnessed a exhausted woman standing in the middle of her house in robes while a bunch of her children are running around like maniacs in the house?  Well, we have the cat version of that!  However, Lindsey was a helicopter parent by definition!  This gentle girl became a mother at a young age and raised two little ones by herself!  Her daughter was a rascal, but she couldn't have asked for anything less!  However, soon after they were put up for adoption, Lindsey's litter were taken to their new homes, leaving this little lady by herself.  Now, she wants to find a forever home for herself!  With a regal beauty like her, it's hard to take your eyes off of her!  She's a quiet, shy girl, but she seems to have a weak spot for other kitties!  Perhaps she longs for a family to care for since it gave her such pride when she was raising her own litter.  We know she is capable of affection after witnessing it firsthand with her kids.  She seems to want to try and be a lovebug with humans since they helped her and her family!  We think we know how you can do it too!  This girl cannot resist a good ear scratch or head rub, so they might be your ticket to winning this girl's heart! Lindsey's adoption donation is $175 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.  If you would like more information on Lindsey, please contact Lynn at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. Story
Birthday: April 4, 2024 Athena may have been named after the Greek goddess, but she's an angel in disguise!  Although, sharing the same name with the person who was known for their heroic endeavors is just as fitting! Regardless, we all can agree that this little girl is the cutest little fluffball we've seen! Athena and her sisters were abandoned along highway 11/15 in a burnt-out restaurant, along with their mother.  When the mother left her daughters temporarily, she was struck by a passing vehicle, killing her in the process.  The litter was left alone with no one to care for them.  That was when a good Samaritan discovered the litter and contacted one of LCCR's fosters for assistance. Upon meeting them, they exhibited an incredibly friendly disposition, which lead the rescuers to believe that they were once indoors. Athena is hoping that her future family will understand that she doesn't want to be an only kitty.  She would really love in one of her sisters went too, or if that's not possible, have another playful kitty waiting for her at home! With her sparkling outgoing personality, it's hard to deny her a buddy!  She enjoys her time with humans to the point where she can bear the thought of leaving them alone for too long.  In fact, her foster has placed a padded mat next to her bed, just so Athena can feel like she's close by.  Every now and again, Athena will sneak her way on to the bed to snuggle next to her foster!  She may not be a fan of being held, but she is an absolute treasure who will purr you the song of her people!  Just give her a bit of loving!  You'll see for yourself! Athena's adoption donation is $175 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
