Story
Vader is a sweet, chill dog who needs tender, loving care. This gentle boy, unfortunately, came from a cruelty case where he was left in an apartment for several days. Despite struggling through a rough patch in his life, and being in shelter care for 5 months, he still kept his manners. Favorably, Mister Vader comprehends many commands--including Paw, Sit, Stay, Lay Down, and how to get into his kennel! Such a smart pup! He loves his treats, does anything to get one, and is not aggressive with his food. Keeping Vader clean is easy. Just be sure he is comfortable and calm and he will love it! This boy is also 7 years young! Vader loves to play ball and with his other toys, so having a fun game of fetch is an excellent way to entertain the pupper! While he likes to meet other dogs, Vader often likes to mind his own business; even pulling a bit on the leash to get an in-depth whiff of his surroundings. Vader is curious! Though very sweet with children, he gets too excited at first meeting them and may scare some little ones with Zoomies. If you take Vader home, he would love you endlessly, sneaking in an extra long cuddle for good measure; if he's feeling extra lovey, he's willing for a hug too! This sweet boy needs any kind of love you can give. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Story
Rowdy comes with 18 months of Service Dog training. Service Dog life wasn’t in the cards for him (He was smart enough, but loved to play more than anything) and our daughter adopted him from a shelter. Later, due to an injury, she was in a place where she couldn’t care for a dog. We took him in, in hopes that she would be able to reclaim him, but she’s just not going to be able to. We are entering a season that may require us to travel for work 3 months at a time. Living in hotels isn’t the life for this sweet boy. Rowdy needs a home where he can be with his person, going on walks, playing tug of war, fetch, and be a faithful companion. He is completely housebroken, not destructive, a great guard dog, obedient, and ready to serve his person loyally. He gets along with other animals with proper introduction.
