Story
Meet June! She is a very active and affectionate dog, she loves to go for a walk on a leash and discover new places, she is usually invaded when she meets a new dog, and she jumps on people with tremendous joy, she is very sociable and obedient, but when she plays she usually behaves like puppy, he loves balls, cloth toys, rope toys, and he really likes to play with puppies. She was abandoned the day she had her 12 puppies, the "owner" went to throw the babies on the hill while June desperately looked for them where she thought her home was, the person who asked us for support to give her shelter and care told us that She went for her puppies, and they were in a box, under the sun, and there were 4 dead puppies in a bag, together with her 8 brothers, the girl took them down to her house so that June was with them, but when we arrived by they only had 5 puppies alive since he brought them back up the hill. June is currently healthy, happy, and chubby. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation to North of San Diego

Story
Rocket Can be a good dog, I have tried to work with him for three years. I have a son and another small dog. When I first got Rocket, I got him from the Animal Pad, They failed to disclose that he is;Reactive; To other dogs, It doesn;t matter their breed or size. I have done all types of training tips. I have used different types of tools such as a gentle leader., A soft Muzzle, Treats, And trying to distract him or redirect his attention. It is my belief that Rocket has to be the only dog, He cannot be around other animals of any kind. He has started acting strange around our small dog, But from day one, he has always been reactive Highly to other dogs. I have tried to work with his anxiety, and I had put him on puppy Prozac. I cannot seem to find a good solution for him to help heal whatever anxieties and aggression that he has. I have taken him frequently to dog parks where for a while he does good, but honestly, he can;t be trusted to not lunge And bite someone else;s dog.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please review our Adoption Process before filling out an application.  If you would like to try a Foster to Adopt trial, please fill out an Adoption Application.  If you are only interested in temporarily Fostering one of our rescues, please fill out a Foster Application.   Meet Princess! This sweet sad face is a docil and gentle soul who is a little scare and shy on new situations but in the home where she knows her environment and people she is a very loving social pupper. Princess loves her humans and befriends dogs easier than new people. Princess loves dogs and is a submissive personality. She is ok with children especially those she knows. She can be a little uncomfortable/scared of new kids who are fast and loud  whom she has never met before. Volunteers who have helped with Princess at events mention she can show a bit nervous at first but slowly warms up. She will stay pressed around their legs for comfort and can get startled easily with fast movements but with time she gets comfortable with her environment as you can see on videos. She has not lived with children but she enjoyed them petting her when they approached gently. We have not cat tested princess but we believe she likely would do well as she would be scared of them, we are happy to cat test if requested or inquire about our foster to adopt trials if you'd like to make sure she is the right match for your family. Princess is crate trained  who enjoys playing with other dogs and receiving pets from her foster family. Currently fostered with 3 adult humans and a couple young male dogs a male and female about the same size of her. Benji and Almond are her best friends and like her also fostered in the same home and looking for a forever home. She is crate trained and being a young dog we would not recommend a home who needs to leave her home alone for long stints in the day. It would be great if her future adopter plan on enrolling in dog training to help build her confidence, she aims to please her humans and seeks their approval. Princess has an athletic svelt look to her and is just a beautiful little dog already full grown in the mid 30 pounds. Story
Jackie came in originally because she had been ran over by a car and needed a safe place to heal for a few months while her leg and hip were mending. When a dog comes in in her condition they go on bed rest where they can just focus on catching up on sleep, a soft bed, and plenty of food. Within a month we noticed she was starting to get a little on the heavier side so we put her on a diet. But we quickly realize that she was getting larger and it was nothing to do with how much food she was eating. She was pregnant! The accident must have happened shortly after she conceived. But in these situations because of all the trauma and surgeries that she had been through the puppies with more than likely be still born. But she was so far along already there was nothing we can do but watch and wait. In the middle of the night she gave birth to six perfectly healthy babies! She weaned them at only one month and decided she was done dealing with them a few weeks later. She was not cut out to be a mom but rather wanted to live her life freely and with no responsibilities. So we put her in a group of other like-minded dogs and she flourished! She loves playing and investigating everything! She is very intelligent and absolutely adores snuggles!
