Story
Like their name implies, the Lollipop pups are full of sweetness! These puppies are a snuggly bunch gentle with kids and well socialized. Mama Lollipop is a petite, thin girl and we believe she is a mix of Whippet, Terrier and Chihuahua. We don't know who their dad was but think these puppies may have some Shepherd or Hound in them as well. Mama is less than 25 lbs and while we don't know for sure, we believe these puppies will be medium in size when they are full grown. Currently, the Lollipop puppies are being fostered together in a loving foster home where they are getting lots of love and attention. Pop Drop is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting a Lollipop puppy then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Please email us at I doginfo@labsandmore.org if you need assistance. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life! Story
Lollipop is a thin, petite girl with a quiet, gentle heart. She came to Labs and More pregnant and delivered her puppies not soon afterwards. After caring for her puppies the last several weeks, she is finished with motherhood permanently. Lollipop puts the More in Labs and More. We believe she is a mix of Whippet, Chihuahua and Terrier and she is around 26 lbs. She is a precious, friendly girl that eagerly gives hugs and loves attention. She loves to snuggle up beside you on the couch and does happy zoomies when you come home. She loves people of all ages, including kids, and loves to climb into anyone's lap. Lollipop has lived a rough life in her few short years and we believe she is likely deaf or nearly so. Therefore, she is cautious in new situations and around new dogs. With patience and a proper introduction, she gets along with other dogs, but isn't sure about playing with them yet and doesn't really care for dog parks (too many unfamiliar dogs). She peacefully co-exists with the resident dogs in her foster home and would be fine with a calm, easygoing dog sibling or would do well as the only dog in her forever home. She has met cats in the neighborhood and respects their space and does not try to chase them so we believe Lollipop could live in a home with a cat. She walks pretty well on leash and enjoys going for walks but can be a little overwhelmed if too much is going on around her so prefers a quieter neighborhood over downtown city living. Since she cannot hear and does not make much noise herself, she would do well in an apartment or condo setting. Lollipop is food motivated, well on her way to learning Sit, and takes treats gently. She is housetrained in her current foster home and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Lollipop then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. Story
Greyhound mix; Spayed female; 2 years; 30 pounds If you looked up “Loyal” in the dictionary you would find a picture of Tinsel. This sweet pup loves nothing more than to sit on the couch with her favorite people to binge her favorite TV shows. She also enjoys fluffy blankets, going on long car rides, tennis balls and eating cream cheese. Tinsel is a medium size of about 30 lbs. She has a sweet face with doe like eyes and a svelte body type. Tinsel has had some bad luck and been displaced a few times looking for her forever family. Moving from home to home caused her to lose hope but luckily after spending some time in a shelter she found her way to her foster family and is now ready to find a home to call her own. Tinsel has been working with a trainer to build her confidence and learn that the world is not so scary. She will need dedicated and committed adopters, who are willing to take things slow to help her continue to blossom. A trainer will be provided for her new forever family. Tinsel is currently living in a home with a family. If you are interested in learning more, we would love to chat about her history and adoption needs. For more information or if you are interested in adopting, please contact Tinsel’s foster, Jaime at sddogsquad@gmail.com. *PLEASE NOTE: This animal is listed as a courtesy for another organization or private party. This pet has not been evaluated medically or behaviorally by Rancho Coastal Humane Society and is not in our care.
