Story
Kaipo obviously had puppy training classes as he knows his basics He LOVES to play Ball ⚽️ Fetch and he’s very good at it. Brings back the ball well. Drops it and can go for quite away. Walks well on a lead. Listens very well. pleasant dog. He is slowly accepting more and more love. And offering up his tummy for tummy rubs. He has shown some resource guarding, which we are working on with him. He would do best as an only dog, as he is very insecure with other dogs, and gets grumpy around some of them. He would do great with someone who lives an active lifestyle, and then wants a T.V watching buddy. He is neutered, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped.

Story
Friday earned her name because she was rescued on Black Friday. Friday is an absolute sweetheart. She's super friendly and outgoing. She loves making friends with everyone who crosses her path and will greet all with a wagging tail, a smile, and loads of kisses. Friday is SUPER smart and quick as a whip. She's well trained and catches onto new tricks and skills quickly. She knows her basic commands and is such a great pup at home! She's wonderful with kids, dogs, and even cats. She's doing excellent on house and crate training. She loves walks too and could walk for as long as you do! Don't let her serious face in photos fool you...this girl is as happy as a clam and is always grinning! She is only 8 months old and weighs only 40 lbs.

Story
Loving, loyal to a fault, and springs in his feet - that's how we would describe super pup Scrappy! This sweet boy is around 1 year old and we believe he is a mix of many breeds of dog including Terrier, Whippet, Lab and Carolina Dog. His mom was a Chihuahua, Poodle and Shepherd mix. He has flying nun ears, long thin legs and speed of a Whippet but is slightly thicker with short golden fur and the playful, cuddly personality of a Terrier. Scrappy's favorite things are walks, playing with stuffed toys and cuddling with his people! His snuggles are second to none and he will find a way to tuck his body in a tight little ball next to yours on the couch. He is a champion snuggler and couch cuddles are a must have for this boy in his forever home. He is a lovebug that bonds closely to his family and loves to shadow you around the house. He does not live with any kids but his foster mom says he takes treats very gently and he is on his best behavior around kids of all ages, especially teenagers. Sometimes, though, little kids can be a little too busy and unpredictable for him and since he is not used to that, Scrappy would probably do best in a home with kids aged 8 years old and older. Scrappy has a lot of young dog energy and is looking for an active family that can help Scrappy channel that energy in positive ways. He is very athletic and enjoys doing zoomies in his foster family's backyard so would prefer a home with his own yard to run and play in or the ability to go to a local dog park to run around and stretch his legs. He loves to go for walks and goes on a few short walks a day in his foster home but he would also be a good running and hiking buddy. He rides well in the car and enjoys going for adventures. His foster mom gives him snuffle mats and puzzle toys to work his brain and he is an expert at dissecting squeakers out of stuffed toys. He is very fast and loves to jump and play so we think he'd excel in dog sports such as agility, dock diving or frisbee. He has already mastered agility jumps and is a quick learner eager to please. He is very good with other dogs once he gets to meet them and is a social, playful boy that does great at dog parks and the dog beach. He would really love a dog buddy in his forever home that matches his playstyle but would be ok on his own with a strong pack leader human and as long as he had social playdates with dog friends or visits to the dog beach, park and/or dog daycare. Scrappy has learned his basic commands and is always ready to learn more; he thrives with a routine, really wants to please and is very food motivated, which makes training fun with this boy. He has mastered Sit, Down, Up, and Over and also knows his name, Come, and Go Potty. He is housetrained in his current foster home with regular visits outside and will often sit by the backdoor when he needs to go out. Scrappy has come a long way with crate training in his foster home. He sleeps quietly at night in his crate and has learned it's ok to be in his crate when his foster family has to leave him. He would love a family where someone works from home or can take him to work with you but he settles down after a few minutes in his crate and can be crated for a few hours home alone especially when home alone with another dog close by to keep him company. He is looking for a family that can continue his training and set him up for success. Scrappy is a sweet, quirky boy and if you are lucky enough to adopt him then you will be rewarded with all the snuggles in the world! If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Scrappy, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue.
