Julia is the perfect dog—and we truly mean it!
She’s incredibly friendly and loving, getting along with everyone she meets—people, dogs, and even cats! Julia is fully house-trained, walks well on a leash, and has the perfect balance of calm and playful energy. She’ll easily adjust to your lifestyle and routine from day one. She’s a comfortable medium size, just about knee-high, with a unique brindle coat and one ear up and one ear down; she stands out wherever she goes.
Julia is gentle and very affectionate; she loves to give kisses, go for walks, and play. Playing with a ball is her favorite—she doesn’t even need a partner! She’ll happily toss it around and entertain herself. She’s good in the car and will jump right in, ready for a ride. She is smart and listens well, she picked up the house rules in just one day. Julia has no issues with resource guarding, is comfortable staying home alone, and is wonderfully easygoing. What more could you ask for in the perfect companion?
Julia is a rescue dog from Ukraine. Her journey took her from Kharkiv to Lviv, then Frankfurt, and finally to New Jersey. She’s a true trooper and would be an amazing companion for a family with kids and/or another dog. She is vaccinated and vetted here in the U.S. She is currently staying with a foster family with two dogs and two cats—she’s friends with everyone!

Note: Sochi Dogs Rescue works on a foster to adopt model. All of our adopters have a 1-week trial period to decide if the dog is the right match for you. Should you decide the adoption is not working out, you can notify us within the first week and we will coordinate a time to take the dog back into a foster home and issue a refund of the adoption fee minus $75.
