I'm around 6 months old and I come in at about 30lbs, which should put me at a fantastic mediumish size of 40-50lbs when I get myself all growed up. "What did the cricket say to the squirrel??" How would we know?? Cricket's don't TALK!! Ok, now that we have broken the ice, let me tell you all about me :) I am a strong survivor. I came from the most DISMAL situation you can imagine.... born to an unwanted mother, sickly and sad, I was dumped with her as well as one of our sisters dead bodies, like we had no meaning in this world... BUT, LOVE WON OUT!!! I was seen by a kind woman who reached out to another kind woman who reached out to a rescuer in San Antonio- 5 hours away!!! AND we were SAVED! So how is that for a rags to riches story?? It is MY story. I am a happy girl now, I have come SO FAR from the scared, skinny, starving, mangy pup I was, but I haven't reached the finish line YET!! That's where you come in... I am ready for my forever family. We are going to be a little picky, if you don't mind. I prefer a home, with heat and ac, with food and with LOVE. Older kids would be great, I can still be a little nervous with new people (who can blame me?) and I would love another calm, confident dog to help me with my energy. So, if that sounds like your home, APPLY TO ADOPT ME!!! Midnight is a sweet pup who loves to run. She has a brother named Jack that she loves to play with. She is crate trained and she knows several commands like shake, down, sit, off, heel and stay. Did I mention she loves to run. We are having a medical issue in our home and we need to find her a new home. She is 8 months old. She is up to date on all shots, she is spayed, microchipped and treated for fleas. She needs a loving home with room to run. She loves her toys and will play fetch all day long. We will include her bed, her favorite toy and a bag of her food.

Hi there! My name is Georgie GIrl! I am a young, maybe around a year or so, female Whippet/Hound mix. I only weigh about 33 lb. I had to put on weight when my foster mom got me from the shelter. I was skin and bones. I guess wherever I came from originally must have pretty much starved me. I am not afraid of people so I don't think I was abused. Just neglected which is bad enough. I am a happy little girl. I love other dogs and people. My foster mom loves to watch me run around the back yard like a race horse. I fly! That is why she thinks I may have Whippet in me. also because I am small. I do have some kind of coonhound or hound in me. I have that hound dog bark. I am crate trained. I am not totally house broke but close. I love food and would eat all day if I could. I think that is because I was so starved as a puppy. I still act a lot like a puppy in that I can get into mischief if you leave your shoes or something laying about.. I would be good around older kids.,\. The reason I say that is because I am so food motivated, and treat motivated, I might grab a cookie or something out of a toddlers hand. That wouldn't be good. So I would do best with either no kids or older kids. I am very friendly and affectionate. I should have a fenced in yard to run in. I have a wonderful nature. I hope if you like hound dogs, you will consider me to be your new best friend. Here is something my foster mom has discovered about me. I can run as fast as the wind. My foster mom thinks I would make a great FASTCAT contender. If you know what this sport is, it is a contest to record how fast I would run chasing a lure. It's a fun event. If anyone knows what I am talking about and always thought it would be a fun thing to do with their dog.....consider me! Love and little kisses, Georgie Girl xoxox
