Story
Come meet Bixby! This loveable guy would love to find a home that will give him some space and time to adjust to his new environment. Bixby can be very shy at first but he will grow to love you in time. Bixby's favorite things include munching on some cucumbers or playing with a squeaky toy while in his kennel. Bixby may not enjoy the company of smaller children, so we ask that kids under the age of 13 be taught to go very slow with him and not crowd him. Bixby may also not due well with other canine siblings, so he would like to be your only 4-legged companion, as he does not do well with sharing his love. Come meet this adorable guy today!

Story
Lavender (AKA BABY LAVY) is a precious girls, guessed to be 4-5 yr old Wirehaired Terrier mix, and is currently being fostered with one of our dog trainers that specializes in timid, shy dogs. Sadly, she came from a dog hoarding situation. She is a very easy going pup, who loves treats. She's adorable and likes to cuddle up in her dog bed or in your lap once she gets used to you! She is potty trained at her foster mom's house. She is a great low maintenance doggy, who does not need walks. She'd be fine in a home with a small yard, or even an apartment with a balcony that has a small real or fake turf to potty. She is kennel trained and pee pad trained inside her kennel. Lavender will need someone to introduce her to the world slowly and give her time to adjust to her new life. There are lots of other dogs at her foster moms house and she gets along with them great, her foster doesn't have any cats but thinks she would be fine with them if introduced properly. She thinks she would do better in a peaceful quiet home with adults to snuggle on the couch with. Another confident dog could be helpful, but not necessary. She will need an adopter who will give her love and patience. Please consider this adorable girl as a part of your family. She deserves all the love in the kindness and will give you a lifetime of affection. The shy dogs become the most loyal dogs, who adore their humans. Her foster mom is located in Fort Collins Colorado and wants to find a patient adopter who is willing to help her continue gaining confidence either with an in person, or virtual training session, which help both, the new family and Lavender, adjust to their new life together faster. She will provide a discount on training. The amount of training needed (it generally takes 1-2 sessions) will depend on the knowledge and experience of the adopter and how far along she is at the time of adoption.
