The pups are in our jail dog program where female trustees care for them until they are vetted and find amazing homes. Pups from this program get a lot of socialization and training - a definite plus! Frannie is a sweet girl who loves other dogs and will be a wonderful addition to any family. Frannie is in our jail program in West Tn and will be transported once her adoption is finalized. Fishy was surrendered to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. He is around 8 years old and is a Maltese/yorkie/chihuahua/shih tzu mix. Fishy is a sweet older guy that did live with two other dogs and seems to not mind sharing his space. He weighs 11 pounds and will need someone that can provide him with regular grooming to keep his coat looking beautiful! According to his previous owner Fishy did have a slipped disc in his back and had to go through therapy for it. Fishy uses ramps to get onto the furniture and will need Somone one knowledgeable about this condition. He gets around and walks fine but he should be discouraged from jumping up or off of furniture or jumping in general. Fishy has done very well for bathing here at the shelter. Fishy would love to have a second chance at a loving forever home soon! He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.
