But read carefully as I do have some behavioral issues and will need to go to a very special forever home. I'm a 9-pound bundle of sweetness, and my name says it all—Awesome Blossom! I'm house trained and have the whole crate routine down, although I've recently discovered the joy of comfy beds and couches. My love for treats knows no bounds, and my humans find my little dances and animated antics quite amusing. I'm a quiet companion who loves being your shadow. If food is involved, count me in! Napping in my cozy beds is a favorite pastime, and I hope my gentle snoring won't keep you up. I'm a good girl, but there's a unique quirk – I'm afraid of touch. However, I make up for it with adorable bumps on your hand and leg, especially if you're fixing my food. I love other dogs and currently share my space with two furry friends. Snuggling with them is one of my favorite activities. Did I mention how much I love to eat? Veggies and fruits are on my menu too, all part of staying healthy! I give her lots of finger kisses so she knows I love her.  I love being outside so I can snooze in the sun and run with my doggie friends.  I can be a bit bossy sometimes with certain doggie friends.  Usually it's when they get too rowdy, so slower paced, non rambunctious friends are best.  I can also be an only dog too.  I enjoy ear scratches and treats.  A nice chew bone is always nice too!  I can be a quiet little lady or I can be a little sassy.  What can I say when I want to have fun, I want to have fun! Some might call me a little anxious.  That being said, I hope to find a patient family that will give me time to come out of my shell.  Not only will I need that but also another dog in the home to help me learn all the necessary things of being in your family and help me gain confidence.  So far while in my foster home, I have been mirroring the other dogs and just started playing with toys which is something I haven’t done before.  That’s a big step for an anxious pup!  I love eating but taking treats from people’s hands is still a struggle.  But my discovery of toys shows that I am very capable of all the good things life has to offer us both. One of those favorites is sunbathing on the deck!  Ah, the bliss of it all! While here I have been going potty both on a potty pad and outside, so I’m a work in progress. I know once I am settled in my forever home and on a good routine I will figure it out. We are working on crate training – not my favorite thing. So, shared walls night be a problem as I like to bark while crated.  Oh and I should mention that due to my anxiety, I’ll need a fenced yard so I don’t zip off in a moment of fear. I’m busy studying the commands and have picked up quite a few: come, kennel, outside and go potty! Overall I’m really a sweet little guy who is making progress and loves being told I’m a good boy. All I need now is a forever family with lots of patience, love and a furry friend to show me the ropes. My name is Challah, and I'm a seven-year-old Yorkie weighing in at a petite 8 pounds. Let me tell you a little about myself. I'm a shy, friendly and curious girl with lots of energy. I am learning every day that people can be trusted. When I'm at home, I enjoy being near my favorite humans and getting all the cuddles I can. I'm still figuring out what toys and treats are all about, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon! I'm great dogs of all sizes. In fact, I require a doggy sibling in my new home to help me feel more secure, learn to get on a routine and help me learn to trust people. I'm respectful of cats too, and I always make sure to give them their space. While I'm not potty trained just yet, I'm very close, especially when kept on a good schedule. I'm also crate trained, so I have a cozy little space of my own. I do need a fenced yard because I'm not leash trained and can be a bit fearful of new things, making me a flight risk. I’m Mary Ann, a lovely 10-year-old female Yorkie weighing 8 pounds. Even though I’m a senior, I’ve got lots of love to give. While I’m not very playful, I adore being carried around in a sling—it makes me feel safe and close to my human. I also get along well with respectful children and am always respectful to cats. I’m Éclair, a 4-year-old Yorkie Mix with a big personality packed into my 7-pound frame. I get along with everyone—dogs, cats, and humans alike! I love going outside, but I’d prefer if you come along with me. I’m still learning about toys, so I might need a little guidance in figuring out how to have fun with them. I’m not a picky eater, which makes me easy to please at mealtime. Potty training is still a work in progress, but I’m trying my best, and I’ll get there with a bit more practice. I’m also crate trained—though I might bark a little at first, I calm down quickly and settle in nicely. While I don’t need a fenced yard, I do enjoy occasional walks on a leash to stretch my legs and take care of business. I’m still working on my leash skills, but I’m eager to learn and improve every day. I get along great with dogs of all sizes, so I’d do well in a home with or without another dog. Hi My name is Jojo From his foster: Jojo is a sweet, old man! He's lived a long life, so he knows what he likes and doesn't like! He loves attention but he doesn't like sharing it! He's been known to get a little snarly when his foster brother gets scratches from the humans! What can he say, Jojo loves to be the center of attention!! He's a great lap dog. Jojo is not a big fan of his crate, but does love to be left home alone with his foster brother! If he isn't with another dog he will howl and howl! Because of this, he would do best with another furry friend in the house. The furry friend should be smaller, non-reactive, and submissive. He hasn't been tested with cats, but I think he would prefer to be without them. He's got a very high prey drive and barks at pretty much anything he sees that isn't a dog his size! He is not a fan of big dogs either, but could possibly warm up to them with slow intros. He loves to snuggle up with his person and sleeps a lot. He enjoys walks outside, but he's definitely not running buddy! Jojo has arthritis and does best when he can be active but nothing too strenuous. He has a bit of a difficult time with stairs and often falls while using them due to a weak hip. Because of this, he would do best in a house with very few stairs. Jojo has cataracts in both eyes which limits his vision. He cannot see in the dark and becomes very afraid. We carry him when it is dark, and he should not be by stairs when it is dark. Jojo wears belly bands inside when left alone for more than an hour or so. He's got an elderly bladder! He sometimes has poo accidents inside too. Jojo has some health concerns that we are keeping an eye on. He has fatty masses, hair loss, and low pressure in his eyes. He has allergies of some sort that seem to be slightly improved with Apoquel. The vet says he will need a dental cleaning and probably some extractions. To sum it all up, Jojo's ideal forever home would include: -One other small dog in the home (dog must be willing to let Jojo rule the roost and get all the attention he wants!) -Limited stairs or ability to block them off -Someone willing to follow up with his medical needs -A family who loves to cuddle! Overall, he is a special and sweet boy! He is a big time snuggler and will give you all his love!

Melford is sweet little guy who is looking for a special furever home. He will need someone who is willing to brush his beautiful soft hair and take him for routine grooming.  He will also need to be fed a soft wet food that is edible using his tongue.  Shredded /liquidity is best .  This is due to Melford has a partial lower jaw making him eat slowly and with a limited diet.  He does love his food though and may give a little grrrr sound when another dog tries to take it.    He's laid-back and  loves just hanging out in his doggie bed,  with his foster and foster brothers. Even cats are ok with him. Sometimes plays when he finds the right buddy. He would've to be in a home with other small dogs.    Potty training is going well and will get excited to go outside to do his bissness or just wonder around in the yard. Messi is an amazing dog. He is a purebred and his breed is called “Biewer”. It’s in the same family as the Yorkshire Terrier. Only difference is Biewers are tri-colored (white, black, tan) and their tails are not docked. Messi has the best personality and absolutely loves everyone. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He doesn’t bark much at all and craves attention. This is hard for me, but unfortunately, I have to relocate for my job and unable to take him with me. He’s amazing!! ❤️

But for now, maybe a home without small kids would be better as commotion, loud noises and men seem to make me more tense. I don’t have too much desire to play right now as I’m still trying to get accustomed to life in a loving environment.  I’m low key but I ventured out a bit this week and actually played with a toy!  Hold your applause! I don’t really have a fur bestie so I can be an only pet if you’re home most of the day.  Why, you ask?? Well, I tend to have lots of conversation with people and like to voice my complaints to the peanut gallery often (bark bark).  I am crate trained but that darn potty thing is a bit trickier.  However, when you keep me on a good schedule, I feel I’m close to making it happen! I don’t require a fenced yard either, as I’m working on my leash skills.  Granted, it’s got more work to be had but we can do it!  I have put my noodles together and with lots of practice, I know “sit, come, kennel, outside and go potty!” I’m food motivated which is why my noodles are functional.
