Story
Stumvoll is a 2 year old, 11 lb Yorkie/Dachshund mix, but breed mix is just our best guess. What we do know to be 100% fact is that he is a cutie, especially with his scruffy, white beard! Stumvoll is still puppy enough to be playful. He loves to run zoomies and play wrestle with the other dogs in his foster home. His best friend is the resident 50 lb Pittie. He is also a loveable lap dog. He doesn't live with kids, but we think he would be ok with them. Stumvoll sleeps in his crate, and he will go in on his own for nap time or just quiet time. He is almost housetrained, but will need a little extra guidance in his new home. He has great leash manners and loves his walks. The first step to meeting Stumvoll is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Karma is a 1 year old, 10 lb Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, but breed mix is just our best guess. This little cutie is very likely to win your heart! Although she came from a really difficult situation, she has thrived since coming into care with Humane Tomorrow. Every day she gets a little more comfortable and her naturally curious and spunky personality is really shining through now. It's not unusual for Karma to get a bit of the zoomies, running around happily with the other dogs in her foster home. She's the best mixture of independent and cuddly puppy too! Jumping up into a blanket basket to snuggle and look out the window and also into her peoples' laps on the couch. She's good with being carried and has gotten used to being on a leash for short walks in the yard. Karma is still startled by loud sounds, so she needs to be approached by new people slowly until she warms up. It will be helpful to take her for walks on leash in a fenced yard until she gets comfortable with her new home. Once she gains confidence, she would love to go on longer walks around the neighborhood. Karma should be fine in a home with other dogs and cats. We are recommending kids over the age of 10 who will be gentle with her. The first step to meeting Karma is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Charm is a 2 year old, 10 lb Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, but the breed mix is just our best guess. Foster mom says she is very sweet but a little shy at first. Charm gets along with the other dogs in her foster home but would probably be okay as an only dog. She has not been around cats or small children. She would prefer a quiet home as she has a tendency to hide when hearing loud noises. Charm seems to have bonded a little more with foster dad instead of foster mom, but she is friendly and affectionate with both. She immediately started using the doggy door and the ramp to the bed by watching the other dogs in her foster home, so she must be pretty smart. She is not crated in her foster home, but seems to enjoy having an open crate to chill in. She is very affectionate and likes to sleep on her foster mom's pillow at night. The first step to meeting charm is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Yuki is an 11 month old Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, but breed mix is just our best guess. She had a rough start in life, living in filthy conditions, with very little human contact. She is now in a loving foster home, and she is getting better each day in trusting her foster parents talking care of her. Yuki can still be shy though, and adopters will need to be patient and let her settle in at her own pace. She loves being with her 2 foster sibling dogs, but they are much older than her and do not interact with her. She does follow them everywhere they go and gets upset if she does not know where they are. Yuki would prefer to have another dog to play with and learn from, but she can be the only dog if her new person is home most of the time and gives her lots of attention and play time. She did learn how to use a doggie door at her foster home but still in process of house training. She does go in a crate when the foster parents leave the house, but she is not a big fan. She will eventually learn that the crate is her very own room and safe place. At night she wants to be with her foster parents and siblings. She like to lay in a doggie bed by herself or with one of her foster siblings. Yuki will need time to adapt to her new home and learn about the joy of being a beloved house dog. She is very gentle and would do great with kids 6 years and older.

Story
Kismet is an 11 month old, 10 lb Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, but breed mix is just our best guess. His fun personality and unique lion's mane hair-do will keep you smiling! Kismet has lots of puppy energy and loves to run zoomies around the backyard or inside, circling around the other dogs in his foster home. He gets along with all the dogs, and he even likes the cat. He is a friendly boy, although it may take a minute for him to warm up, but then he will be your best friend. He can be a little mouthy, so we are recommending no kids under the age of 6. He loves toys of all kinds, so if he starts to chew on something he shouldn't, he is easily distracted with a toy. Kismet rides well in the car, is crate trained, and housebroken with a doggie door. "Kismet" means fate, destiny, meant to be. If you think Kismet is meant to be yours, please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Ziggy is an adorable 8 year old, 4.5 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in Grapevine, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered. HI! My name is Zigggy! I am 8 year old, 4.5 lb lil guy! I am a breeder release, and am currently living with my Foster Mommy. I may be a lil guy, but my fluff & my personality are huge! I don't want to brag or anything, but Foster Mommy told me I was a very handsome boy, so ladies watch out. I like to ziggy-zag around the house following Foster Mommy, but am a lil apprehensive about meeting new people or being held. Foster Mommy has been working with me on this, and she assures me that everyone will love my style. I don't have any teethies left, but that's ok, because Foster Mommy told me "Suns out, tongues out." I have to go see the Doggy Doc next week for a neuter and vaccinations, and after that Foster Mommy is gonna drop me off at the barber shop to get a fresh cut for the ladies. If you want to have me join your family for a forever Ziggy-Zag adventure, let Foster Mommy know via email yorkierescuetexas@yahoo.com and fill out your application using the link below.

He is a little wary of new friends. He gets along great with Ziggy, one of Foster Mommy's fosters, and he is showing him the ropes, and by ropes we mean how to blackmail Foster Mommy into cuddles and cheese. This little guy is fully vaccinated and neutered and ready to get to his forever home!

Story
Selma is 12 1/2 years old and weighs 12lbs. Per Wisdom Panel she is a mix of 5 different breeds with the main breeds being Yorkshire Terrier and Miniature Poodle. If we had to describe her in one word, it would be SWEET! Selma does not have a mean bone in her body. Selma is blind and almost completely deaf, as she can only hear very loud noises. Even though she is blind, she navigates her surroundings great. She is also diabetic, so she requires two insulin shots a day as well as prescription food. We know this sounds scary to potential adopters. Her foster mom had never administered insulin shots before but said the needles are so tiny, and Selma never fusses when receiving them. Selma is fantastic around other dogs. She does not play with them but will happily snuggle up with another dog in a dog bed. She is also great with everyone she meets! Selma is gentle, independent, and so sweet. She spends most of her days napping in a dog bed but occasionally likes sit on a lap and get pets. She is not potty trained, but as long as she is taken out any time she wakes up from a nap, she doesn’t have any accidents. We realize that Selma has a lot stacked against her - age, blind, deaf, diabetic, and not potty trained. However, she is a special girl with so much love to give. Her forever home is out there somewhere. If you are interested in adopting Selma, please submit an adoption application at www.rescuerowinc.org!  *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash, zelle, venmo or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1849750##
