Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info! ***I am able to go home to my forever family right off of transport! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on March 28th and arrive on March 29th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 3/15/2025 Dog Name: Belle Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Female Toy/Mini Yorkshire Terrier mix Approximate Age: 6-7 years  Approximate Weight: 3 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Spayed Description: Belle is adorable, tiny and just beautiful!! Belle will likely need to be an only dog or live with a dog of her size as she is scared of the big foster dogs and cats. She tries to be tough but it’s only because she knows she’s supposed to be the queen of a household! She is a sweetheart who loves to be carried around. Adoption Fee: $550We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. March 16, 2025, 12:43 am

Story
Katie is almost 7 years old, having spent her first 6 years in a puppy mill. She will require a human with patience and gentleness as sudden noises put her on alert. A home far away from fireworks would be best. She is fostered in a home with both dogs and cats & gets along with all.Earning her trust is not an immediate event, but once you do, she will want to be by your side nearly all the time. Her favorite place to eat is next to her human. As well as sleeping in the same bed.`Outside` is becoming more familiar and knows doing her business outside makes her human happy. She also uses the pads inside and her groomer describes her as `a very good girl`.Even though she hasn`t really figured out `toys` yet, she is very treat motivated. She is being fostered in Hammond IndianaApply to adopt at nbstr.org

Story
Please say Hello Dolly! She is a 5 pound petite little girl who is about 5 years old. She has just been released from a breeding situation so she is getting used to life in a loving foster home where she will learn all the good things about life, rather than living life in a cage making babies. At this time, Dolly is still very careful about trusting, but every day she is learning only good things. Right now she is considered a high-flight risk and will need a home with a fence and someone who has been educated or is experienced with puppy mill survivors. The reward is so amazing when you are the one she will experience all of her `firsts` with. She will turn into a little love sponge, wanting to be only near her person. Could you be that patient home this sweet girl deserves?
