Meet Eric, our charming and energetic one-year-old boy! At 60 lbs, this bundle of joy is sure to win your heart with his uniquely curly tail and lovable personality. Eric is incredibly friendly and full of energy, making him a great companion for anyone who loves an outgoing and playful dog. He’s already learning to sit, especially when there are tasty treats involved, but he can get a bit distracted by all the exciting things around him. With some additional loose-leash training, Eric will soon be walking like a pro. Come meet Eric at our shelter and see if he might be the perfect addition to your family!Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

Story
Kashi is the easiest foster we've ever had, and we've had several! She is calm and quiet, gentle, affectionate and very well-behaved. She loves all people but isn't overtly friendly with other dogs. Because of her high prey drive, she shouldn't be in a home with smaller pets. She is young and has a high energy level, so should only be in a home with older children for their safety, not because she would deliberately harm them, but 70+ pounds of zoomies might accidentally. We have had her since early November 2024, and she has been vaccinated and spayed during our care. We would keep her ourselves if we believed we could give her a long and healthy life, but we are in our 70s with physical limitations and unable to personally provide her the level of interactive exercise she needs: walking, hiking, other physical activities. Sadly, there are no kennel clubs or others that provide classes in things like fast cat, nosework, weight pulling, etc. within 2 hours of our home.
