Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! For instance, I am a busy boy, I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Swan is almost 3 months old and is a sassy ball of energy. Shes fluffy, and the cutest, Akita,Husky, Cattle Dog mix. It’s getting harder and harder to get pictures of her as she loves to wiggle around! New tricks this week….she’s mastered the doggie door, can scarf down her food under 2 minutes, and is becoming quite the climber. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and learning to potty outside. She loves kids and can match their energy. Shes eager to please! She’s going to be a big dog and has huge puppy paws. For the well-being of our dogs, our kennels are closed to the public for general viewing. If you are interested in one of our dogs, please call 1-800-452-0114 for more information or stop by our shelters 12:00pm- 4:30pm, 7 days a week and speak to one of our adoption counselors.~ I can live in a single family home or condo.~ I want to live with dog savvy kids over age 12.*~ I would like to live with a dog but I have not had much experience with cats. I may be willing to share my home with a feline.~ I am a high energy kind of dog and am looking for a home where I can get lots of exercise every day.~ My behavior is very typical for my breed. Toby is a beautiful 7 yr old boy who loves life and knows tricks. His owner has gotten sick and can't spend the time she needs with him the way he deserves. They are best friends, so this is hard. Toby would prefer to go to an only 1 dog home, but can get along with females smaller than him. He loves to swim, but forgets that "he's not good at it". He will escape and go on his own kinda trip if he's not tied up. He is food aggressive so that you know, he's a husky. He loves kids and his little toys, and digging. Kiddy pools in the summer are a blast to him. His owner would love to visit when he gets acclimated.

Meet Macadamia Macadamia’s mama was left behind when her family moved. Left in the yard of her “home.” She stayed in the yard according to the neighbors waiting for them to return. But they didn’t. She wasn’t spayed and got pregnant. Still, she waited with her babies in a drainpipe. We rescued them before the rains came. They would have drowned. They are ready for forever homes! The Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue adoption donation is $595.00. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (dhpp, bordetella, rabies), microchip, health certificate, fecal test and our dogs are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm. Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $65.00. Adopter will pay actual cost.)
