Story
I rescued Caly in 2019 from a disabled man that could no longer care for her. She’s lived in a household with dogs, cats, and kids. She got along well with my dogs, but not dogs she doesn’t know. She does fine with cats and mainly just ignores them. She was around my twins their entire life and we never had any issues with her and the twins. She’s a social dog and loves attention, but she’s very lazy. You’ll have to walk her for exercise. She’s always struggled with her weight, I’ve kept her on diet food most of the time I’ve had her. She would do well in a household with a single person or a couple that can give her a lot of attention and love on her. She likes to be the center of attention. She loves food & if you have other pets / animals you’ll have to keep their food separate or she will eat it all.

Here's a little bit about me: Social Butterfly: I adore other dogs and get along with all types of personalities and be in a home with another dog, as I love to play.. I'm a natural peacemaker and love to help my furry friends feel comfortable. Quiet Companion: You won't hear much from me! I'm the quietest husky you'll ever meet. Gentle with Cats: I'm respectful around cats and even their litter boxes. But don't let that fool you, I love chasing squirrels and bunnies in the yard! Affectionate and Loving: I crave belly rubs, ear scratches, and all the attention you can give me. I also enjoy being brushed, but will politely let you know when I've had enough. The volunteers tell me I'm hard to resist.SOMETHING ABOUT MY PAST: I have lived with another dog and older kids. In my previous home, I was trusted to be left alone so I had free roam but I am also crate trained. I can be protective of my food around unfamiliar dogs but I am well behaved around my canine friends and at doggie day care.
