Rrrrruffff! I'm Kya! I'm a happy and smiley girl! I love people and I'm a very sweet girl. I can be a tiny bit anxious but with time I come out of my shell pretty easily! I'm a cattle dog mix, and I have some white, brown and black in my coat! I'm quite beautiful, and I smile often! I'm dog friendly, I currently go out with two other large female foster sisters and a foster brother! At first, I try to work and will to herd everyone. That's my job, so that's what I do! But,, I play and jump around once I know my duties have been completed! I'm potty and crate trained! My foster Mom lets me out in the yard (fenced in), and I get to play with others and do my business. When I'm all done, I go straight to my crate, where I'm fed and given water! I do like to play in the water too, sometimes I just stand in it. I'm a great adventure partner too, I love adventures! The only adventures I go on right now are to Home Depot, Marshall's, and my favorite...the drive thru at Starbucks! I get to get a pup cup every time! ***NEEDS FOSTER or FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise boarding kennels Meet CINDER! CINDER is about 2 years old and 66 lbs. He is affectionate (think teddy bear), has a gentle mouth, and good on leash. He is obviously very photogenic! We have learned that CINDER is a little cautious of people. He didn't seem to know what going into a car meant either. Will likely need a calm, patient family to start. We would love a foster home for CINDER so that we can learn more about him and help him find a furever home. CINDER is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped for his forever family. ***NEEDS FOSTER or FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Wendell, ID Meet young, playful, sweet, inquisitive 50-pound AMELIA who is doing well in a foster home that includes cats and rabbits. Now that AMELIA is comfortable in her foster home, she is too interested in the cats. We are now looking for a cat-free foster home so that we can avoid putting her in a boarding kennel. AMELIA loves to play with toys and go on walks. AMELIA gets overly excited when she sees other dogs and wants to play. Foster family believes that she would make a great family dog or a great dog for anyone who has a little patience and some time to make her an even better-behaved dog. ***NEEDS FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise, ID KNOX is a young (4.5 year old), 80-lb medium-energy male husky who loves his people and kids and is friendly with other dogs. KNOX is currently in a foster home with dogs, cats, goats and chickens and foster family calls him a 'good boy'. We recently learned that KNOX enjoys escaping his yard to seek out chickens/birds, so a secure yard and no chickens/birds or cats is best for him. KNOX is such a good playmate for kids or other dogs. He is a great adventure buddy, but also great at just chilling with you or other dogs. KNOX shares his bowls and toys with his foster siblings. You can touch him all over and he is totally fine. He didn't mind having his nails clipped at all! KNOX has decent manners and knows his basic obedience commands. He walks well on a harness. He is crate-trained and sleeps perfectly all night in a crate. In the home, KNOX is curious, but not reactive or high-energy. You can rev him up and play, but he also settles in nicely and is calm.
