Story
It should come at little surprise that it's very painful to come to this decision. Yuki is an absolutely beautiful and unique Akita Inu. I have reached an impasse in my life where caring for him on my own has become extremely difficult and even overwhelming at times. Yuki was rehomed once before he came into my life at 6months old. I've lived with him and taken care of him over the past almost 5.5 years since. He's had people come and go in his life with me being the only constant. I believe this contributes to his separation anxiety issues. I've done my best to deal with it but it has come the time that I need to seriously consider finding him a new home better suited for him. Not only has it caused him issues it has begun to cause me issues taking on more than I can continue to handle. Yuki would do well in a home maybe with another dog, someone more than just a single person. He's nosey and funny and gets a lot of love everywhere he goes.

Story
Ninja is a 6 years old, and 90 lbs of love. He's been part of a family since he was a puppy. His dad passed away and his mom wants him to have more attention with people rather than staying out in the yard most of the day. He loves the outdoors but enjoys cuddling with his humans more. He has positive interactions with the dogs on the other side of the fence, but he's never lived with another dog or cat. He has good manners, doesn't jump up on people and barks when he wants you to let him outside. He would make a fantastic companion!Ninja is part of our Ambassador's Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Pawmetto Lifeline wants every animal to have a chance to find a loving home. If an animal is abandoned or needs to be re-homed, we can assist people by providing medical care, marketing and training if the individual fosters the animal. Please contact us at adoption@pawmettolifeline.org if you would like to meet an Ambassador Animal.
