Adoptable in: MAGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Yes, older kidsCrate trained: YesHouse trained: YesWell, well, well – I see you have stumbled upon my profile. Hello! My name is Teddy (although my foster mom keeps calling me the Floofiest Floofball in all of Floofland so maybe that’s my name?) I am 7 years old and I cannot wait to find my forever family!I am a husky and I have been told I have the prettiest smile and softest fur. My foster mom keeps asking to hear my beautiful husky singing, but I’ve been too shy to show her my skills so far. Eating is my favorite activity (though the vet says I need to cut back on the snacking, oops). Once I trust my humans, I will stick to them like glue. I am more than happy to lay around on my bed all day, but the second you get up I want to be where the people are and will follow you wherever you are going.I love going on walks and I have been told I have spectacular leash skills. New people make me nervous, so I do best when meeting them in neutral spaces where I can decide to approach them on my own terms. But once we are friends, we are friends for life (especially if you give me treats). I thrive best in an environment that provides structure and reinforces boundaries. I like it when the humans in my life show me that they are in charge because it makes me feel taken care of and I know I don’t have to worry about anything because they will advocate for me out in the world.I am fully house trained and crate trained, although sometimes I like to hit you with the sad eye smolder so you give me a little treat for going in my crate. I already know basic commands like sit and stay. I’m a really smart boy and can’t wait to learn more with you! I am hoping to find a single-family home with a confident adopter who has experience owning dogs. Okay I think that’s it for now. Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: YesGood with kids: Unknown, likely yesCrate trained: YesHouse trained: YesNorii is one pretty pup with virtually an all-white coat and a truly unique singular black ear marking. In true husky fashion, she loves the great outdoors for some zoomies in the snow and has been known to drag a blanket outside for a cozy snooze. She has also taken up marathon training in Massachusetts and loves going on runs with her foster family. Norii thrives on playing with interactive toys and would benefit from living in a home that can keep her busy. She loves to romp with other dogs and the siestas that follow. She lived with several while in foster care and did great with them all! Norii loves every single person she has met and is learning to not smother everyone with exuberant hugs. She has not had any exposure to kids, but her sweet and playful nature suggests she would be a great fit for a family with dog-savvy kids. Due to her sporadic bursts of energy and playful disposition a home with smaller kiddos might not be ideal. She’s seen cats and has had zero reaction so cohabitation would most likely not be an issue.Norii is house-trained and crate-trained, but thrives on routine. She sleeps in her crate and happily hangs out in there during the day when her foster family is out. However, her favorite activity is seeing what her people are up to and she loves to be included on all adventures, and bonus points she's a quiet gal who's happy to tag along for the ride. A curious floofer, her foster family is working on her leash skills and she is showing great progress. She’s a smart cookie and extremely food motivated so closing the gap on any training should be fun and quick.Norii is the perfect mix of feisty, fun, and chill and can’t wait to find her forever home! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. She is medium energy and likes to bounce and run but will also snuggle.
