Story
Shelby is a small, 3-year-old female Husky-Boxer mix with a playful spirit and a big heart. She's a smart, loyal, and protective companion who loves to play fetch with her mini tires and engage in lively games of tug-o-war. Shelby doesn't have any diet restrictions and enjoys a variety of treats and meals. Shelby would thrive in a household without cats, as she prefers to be the only furry friend. Recently, Shelby has shown some anxiety due to the construction site behind her current home, which has created a lot of noise and new faces. This stress, combined with her owner's recent disability, has made it challenging to maintain the active lifestyle Shelby loves and needs. Shelby is looking for a loving home that can offer her stability and plenty of playtime to keep her happy and healthy. If you have a quiet environment and an active lifestyle, Shelby could be the perfect addition to your family. Give Shelby the loving home she deserves, and she’ll reward you with endless loyalty

Hello! My name is Harold. I'm a big guy weighing at 95 pounds. I could definitely benefit from losing some weight and I love going for walks on the trail. I am looking for an active family who can help me get some exercise. I've met another large dog in play group and did well with him. If you are interested in adopting me, you can visit me at the shelter 7 days a week between 11am and 5pm.

Story
Tsuki is a purebred Alaskan Malamute, I bought as an 8 week old. She has been a perfect family dog with my two children from ages 4 to 10 the last 4 years. She loves cats, and has two small ferrets that are technically her pets that love to climb on top of her. She is very sweet, very gentle and does not ask for much. Honestly, she is a very easy dog to care for. She just wants love and care. Unfortunately, my own family has seen some major life changes in the last two years and she went from a 5 acre ranch to a city apartment. Honestly, she does well in the apartment too, as long as she has someone with her. It is just that now, that is no longer possible. My mother and her dog have moved into a senior home, my kids go to school during the day, and I work nights. This means that Tsuki has to be left alone for hours at a time, this has lead to depression and howling when we are away. No intervention has worked. The truth is, Tsuki just does best when she is with others. Dog or human.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Interested in adopting? See our adoption process. KANGA  thrives on adventure and would love an active adopter who will take him on adventures and give him plenty of play time! Kanga is a loyal guy and will be a great companion for someone. He LOVES the snow in the winter and to swim in the summer.  His number one favorite activity (even more than walks and treats) is going for car rides! He likes feeling the wind in his face through an open window (car surfing). Kanga is incredibly observant and curious. Kanga’s comfort with people has grown significantly while in rescue. He does need a little time to build trust, but eventually he will follow you around and give you kisses! He is also quite affectionate and loyal to those he bonds with. Kanga has excellent house manners and is happy to chill on his bed or lay beside you as you work. He has basic training and knows: sit, down, come, get it, stay, and release and is ready for the next level of training. He is very treat motivated and responds well to a clicker. Kanga just needs to know you can be counted on to pay attention to his physical cues when he’s feeling overwhelmed. Kanga would do best in a home setting with a secure yard and would prefer to be your only pet. He might do well with savvy teens as long as they are aware of Kanga’s “dog language” and can give him space when he needs it.  Are you the active, patient, forever home that Kanga is seeking? Kanga is currently enjoying the amenities of our Malley Valley doggie resort.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 7:57 pm

He can sit, down, shake, other paw and more!  With a striking appearance and a heart full of love, he is on a journey to find his forever home. This sweet-natured canine requires an owner who can provide consistent guidance and training.
