MooMoo was found as a stray near the Lexus dealership in Riverside. A good Samaritan brought him home. The shelter was notified, flyers put up, posted in multiple lost and found sites, but no one has come forward to claim him, so he is now looking for a family that will be more careful with him. He is about a year old and weighs approximately 30 lbs. MooMoo is very playful, crate trained and seems to be potty trained. He hasn't had any full intros to other dogs yet. My foster Mom says I'm a brilliant girl as I'm almost all potty trained and I learned to use the doggy door the same day I arrived at her house. I'm also crate-trained. I'm a loving puppy who loves everyone I meet. I love giving kisses. I'm an energetic girl who loves walking and playing with my toys. Besides that, I would do best in a home as an only dog. I am not the best with little kids. I just bowl them over and get too excited with them so I should be with older kids so they accidently don't get hurt. Sonny, an American Bulldog mix, was wandering down a busy street near a homeless encampment with no owner nearby. A woman driving by cared enough about Sonny to pull over and take the time to scoop him up. He was extremely dirty when he was found, and it’s very possible he had been living on the streets. This compassionate lady brought Sonny to AALOC for safekeeping until he finds his new forever home. Sonny is a lovable guy who enjoys attention and affection. A warm, sudsy bath uncovered his true handsomeness: Sonny is black and white with black button eyes and a black nose, accented with a bit of pink. He is a large dog, weighing in at about 70 pounds and is very strong. We feel Sonny would benefit from some basic training and needs an owner who could provide him with the exercise and discipline that would provide Sonny the best life. Henry came to us by way of the SEAACA animal shelter. When he arrived at the shelter two weeks prior, he was in pretty terrible shape. His ears were destroyed by fly strikes, and his entire muzzle was covered in scabs/sores. He waited for two weeks, but nobody ever claimed him, and he wasn't adopted. We were able to step in and save him from taking his final walk. Henry is literally one of the calmest boxers we have ever seen. He's pretty solid, but so so so tender. He has those beautiful, soulful, amber eyes. It's obvious that Henry wasn't dealt the best hand early in his life, and he probably spent most of his time outdoors. Our vet examined him thoroughly and ran all of the appropriate tests. He believes Henry to be about 3 years old, but we are estimated between 3-5 just to be safe (his teeth indicate closer to 3). Pete is a 3 year old male Pete is an absolute dream dog who adores all people. Due to not being great with other dogs Pete has had extensive professional training and his adopters will get several training sessions to ensure a great start to his new life with you. He is the absolute favorite dog at the training facility. Meet Pete! Isn't he a hunk!?!?!?! Pete came to us from the Riverside shelter. He has been with us since just before Thanksgiving and we have gotten to know a lot about him. &#226&#128&#139 Pete is a tender hearted guy who just wants to snuggle and love his humans. He is very affectionate with people he knows, but it's obvious he's had his heart broken in his past, so he is very guarded with his heart. He needs a home with no other dogs. He is definitely potty trained and very well mannered. He will definitely be on Santa's nice list. He is crate trained He does great with kids but due to his behavior around other dogs, we are not comfortable placing him with kids at this time. He really wants to be home for the holidays. He's a sweet boy that's obviously gorgeous, dog friendly, and just a little quirky. He came to us with several rectal strictures, at deaths door, but now he's just on stool softener(likely for life) and otherwise a healthy young boy. He's about 2 years old, crate trained, but not quite potty trained. He's a good boy but he needs someone that can give him structure and training. He currently has 2 fosters with "joint custody" that love him a lot but it's a lot of back and forth for him and we'd love for him to have a family of his own that could give him the time that he deserves.
