Sonny, an American Bulldog mix, was wandering down a busy street near a homeless encampment with no owner nearby. A woman driving by cared enough about Sonny to pull over and take the time to scoop him up. He was extremely dirty when he was found, and it’s very possible he had been living on the streets. This compassionate lady brought Sonny to AALOC for safekeeping until he finds his new forever home. Sonny is a lovable guy who enjoys attention and affection. A warm, sudsy bath uncovered his true handsomeness: Sonny is black and white with black button eyes and a black nose, accented with a bit of pink. He is a large dog, weighing in at about 70 pounds and is very strong. We feel Sonny would benefit from some basic training and needs an owner who could provide him with the exercise and discipline that would provide Sonny the best life. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Sonny and get to know him a bit. Adoption donation of $165 per dog includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. He showed moderate interest in squirrels and ducks but was easily redirected. He is very deserving of more adventures, just be sure to have a way to restrain him in the car, so he doesn't take over the captain's seat! MooMoo was found as a stray near the Lexus dealership in Riverside. A good Samaritan brought him home. The shelter was notified, flyers put up, posted in multiple lost and found sites, but no one has come forward to claim him, so he is now looking for a family that will be more careful with him. He is about a year old and weighs approximately 30 lbs. MooMoo is very playful, crate trained and seems to be potty trained. He hasn't had any full intros to other dogs yet. Hi, my name is Mango and I’m the cutest hippo potato around! I have the best smile with my underbite, usually my lips get caught on my bottom teeth and my tongue will stick out like a little blep! I love playing with toys by myself and with other dogs but I prefer just playing with my dog friends, I get along with dogs of all sizes and I’m very gentle with cats! I need some basic training to learn not to pull on the leash but I’m not reactive and I’d love going out on the town with you! I know I look like a pit bull terrier at first glance but my foster mom thinks I’m mostly bulldog, I have some energy but then I’m ready to cuddle and be a couch potato next to you! I love people and kids, I love giving kisses so older kids would be better but I can be gentle with younger ones. I think I’m a little high maintenance, I need to have a fluffy cozy blanket to snuggle up in my crate or else I can’t sleep well, a queen needs her beauty rest! I am being crate trained since I like to chew on some fun items that aren’t always dog friendly but I’ll get better as I get older! I’ll be an amazing addition to almost any family and I’m the perfect beginner dog for somebody as well, you’ll fall in love immediately once you meet me!! I’m fully grown at 2 years old and about 47 pounds so I’m a great size for most people but the perfect size for cuddling on the couch!
