Violet is the most joyful and lovable gal! She is SO happy to be alive and makes sure you know how grateful she is every second! Having a bad day? Violets smile will light up the WHOLE room. She is a cuddly girl that is happy to be around her person and will be happy to do anything with you! Want a chill day on the couch? Vi approves! Want to take a 3 hour hike? Vi also approves! She is a very adaptable gal! Violet is searching for her new bff! Could that be you? Violet is a smaller pittie mix, around 55lbs and is all muscle! She is a young dog but clearly has been bred multiple times. She has done great with other dogs her size or bigger with slow introductions. Violet is fully potty trained, leash trained, crate trained, and will happily nap in her crate if you need to leave her home while you go out. She is energetic and loves to play just as much as she loves to snuggle! Violet has some prey drive to small animals so no small dogs or cats. Because of how jumpy and mouthy she can get when she plays or gets excited, we believe she would do best and thrive in a home with kits 10+ only. She has been working on this with a trainer and has improved so so much! Violet has spent 6 weeks with a credible balanced trainer @boooshank (IG) and has made a lot of progress and learning to slow down and think before just acting, which is HUGE for her. She has struggled with being bale to control her impulses because of her prey drive but with working with @boooshank, she has been able to let the chickens be friends and not want to eat them when walking by! Whoever takes a chance on Violet gets a lot of AMAZING training perks from her trainer Lee! Violet comes with lifetime assistance from him, group classes for her whole life and 1:1 lessons, boarding options and priority swimming pool slots! Nugget is an introvert's best friend! He's medium energy, loves going out for walks and he walks well on leash, is crate trained, and respects established thresholds. He enjoys sunbathing, splooting, rolling around in the grass, chasing the water hose / sprinkler, napping after exercise, and is very food motivated. Nugget is slow to trust - he needs time to get to know you and does best in a calm, structured environment. While Nugs is not a social butterfly, when he bonds with someone he bonds for life. Mr Lucky is estimated at over 10 years old. He came to CBR by luck and a hot mess on New Years eve. He had a large mass on his side, chronically infected ears and eyes plus what ened up being two, yes two, large tumors in his scrotum and what the vet believes are healed chemical burns all over his back and belly. All three masses have been removed as well as him being neutered. He also has meds for his eyes and ears, he doesn't like them but tolerates have the meds administered. Though he is a barker and despite everything life has thrown at him he is still a loving and affectionate dog. He pays almost no attention to the resident cat or goats. He may look at them or smell them but then waddles off to his next adventure. Which is normally laying on the couch chewing on a bone or rolling around on the dog bed/floor. He shows the resident dogs a little more attention with more intense smelling and given the opportunity has tried to dominate them by mounting them. He is easily redirected and happy to walk along side them on leash. He does well on leash everywhere and off leash in the yard. He will follow his people anywhere when he feels like it or barge into the bathroom looking for them if the door isn't closed all the way. Lucky isn't to fond of his crate yet but it's a work in progress. His ideal home is one where his person or people are home more than not and where he is able to lounge the day away without a crate.

Story

This is dozer, a 5 year old English bulldog. Dozer first came to me at 12 weeks old. I had him for 2 years and he was rehomed due to ongoing costs anssociated with eye and anxiety issues to a not so loving home (unknown to me). He was not taken care of properly and more than likely experienced quite a bit of abuse. I have been nurturing him back to better health since late November of last year after getting a call from a kill shelter stating if I did not pick him up he would be euthanized. He currently requires eyedrops 2-3 times daily and is medicated twice a day for his anxiety. Through all of his struggles he has remained the sweetest boy. I am still unable to keep up with his ongoing medical expenses but, before rehoming him again I wanted to ensure he was back to full health. He will be neutered prior to being rehomed and sent with full refills of his current medications. He will require a visit to an eye specialist relatively soon that I will be unable to pay for.
